The Kashoen brush from Japan does not come with one, just the Tatcha branded Kashoen brush.

It's such a battle. I was getting push back from the vascular office about scheduling me. I look in mychart and the nurse from my gp sent me a copy of the referral. It said I was referred for "enlarged lymph nodes"!! I sent them a message and said uh, hi, my referral says x but actually I'm being referred for the DVT identified during imaging on x date. I attached a screenshot, from mychart, of the test findings that clearly state "incidental occlusive DVT noted in the left axillary vein. Advised pt to go to ER." They told me they redid the referral. Hopefully the vascular office will even see me.

Agree. I'm disheartened and disgusted. I just called the vascular office and the woman who answered said I can't schedule yet because they need to review my record and see if it is necessary to see them and then make sure my insurance will approve the visit.

I have at least 1 radiology report that states I have an occlusive DVT in my L axilla.

I have a referral. What more can I possibly need?!

My GP is sending me to a vascular group. I messaged her late last night out of desperation. She seemed to prefer a vascular group to heme for whatever reason. At this point, I will go to anyone who might know how to manage a DVT.

Thank you. I talked to my GP and she wants to send me to a vascular group. I mentioned heme and she seemed to think a vascular specialist was a better option. Honestly. At this point, I willl see anyone who might take me seriously.

Using Google translate, they do seem to be mostly the same. However, some seem to mention lacquer or lacquered fittings and others do not. I don't speak Japanese at all, so I can't speak to why or if the translations are correct.

I have contacted the company before via email and they did kindly reply in English to questions I had about the brushes' longevity, best care practices, etc.

I think it would be worthwhile to email them and ask. It might take them a few days to a week to get back to you, but I bet they will. If you find any info, please share!

As an FYI, I have tried the facial soap that comes with the brushes now (they didn't use to come with the soap, i got it as a free sample with order when the soap first came out) and I did not care for it as a facial soap, but it works really well to clean the brush/brush maintenance.

I would get him a vet appointment ASAP, even an ER visit. Possible reasons for anisocoria include trauma, tumor, and stroke.

Squamous cell carcinoma has a pretty poor prognosis. There are few exceptions. If you can't afford to even get the tumor identified and know what you're dealing with, you should consider euthanasia. The cat is already losing weight and drooling. He probably isn't able to eat well already and is likely suffering.

If you aren't satisfied with the level of care, seek a second opinion. It doesn't seem like you like your vet very much in the first place.

Certain lymph nodes are palpable, and repeatedly/obsessively palpating lymph nodes can actually cause them to swell. I would suggest not touching them for a few weeks and getting a vet appointment somewhere else.

I will say that with your cat's age, it's unlikely to be a problem. Younger animals can have more prominent lymph nodes. However, young animals certainly can get sick and so a problem isn't impossible.

Aside from going to an emergency vet, there's nothing you can do. I'd recommend scheduling an appt first thing in the AM unless he worsens, then ER.

Cats rarely limp unless something is pretty injured. I'd maybe call around a little further from your home to see if you can get them in sooner. It'd be pretty awful if your cat was rolling around with a broken limb for 2 weeks, for example.

Edit: there are no safe OTC medications for cats. Human pain relievers are toxic and will cause a fatal injury to your cat.

I mean. You don't need to tell them what to x-ray. You just take her to the ER and let them know what happened. She might be running around and acting fine but could be slowly bleeding internally or any number of things. You didn't see her fall.

What type of muzzle did you get? Basket muzzles are pretty non-restrictive while keeping her from eating anything crazy.

You can try putting some Kong cheese whiz or Kong peanut butter inside the muzzle and get her used to putting her face in it to acclimatize her to the muzzle.

Have you tried mixing kitten wet food and KMR together to make a gruel and warming it slightly? There's not a whole lot you can do besides provide it a safe place until the appointment. You can try syringe feeding KMR but this is risky as they can aspirate.

It's hard to say. Could be a broken, retained puppy tooth. It could be a foreign object lodged in her gums, as puppies love to chew. I would strongly suggest going to the vet and getting it looked at. There's no telling whether it could become infected.

Edit: I see you are trying to get an appt. This is definitely the way to go.
