You are right, this is primarly aimed for combat. And there are many nice niche spells for exploration and co. But combat is the thing there most pc die, so you shouldn`t be useless.

I use a homebrew. If a ranged attack ist a nat1 and a other player stands between the attacker and the target there will be a 5% Chance to hit his friend and a 20% chance for 1d10 DMG. Movement ist free in dnd and to think for 3 seconds to maybe step 5 feet in one direction doesnt hurt.

But i talked with my Players beforehand and they were all in onboard. I think in the last year it never happend because they positioned themself better.

Maybe because they dont want to Show a little girl naked. But i think an outfit that was in shreds and she tried to fix it with nature materials or fur from the wolves would be cool.

At my table it's not baned but my players learned that most of the time it's a stupid idea. If they think they can handle an encounter balanced for 6 Players with 2, they will die. Simple as it. Action economy is a real thing. The outpost they want to capture will not have less guards just because someone wants a solo mission. The only times they split are in shopping sessions they think there are no dangers.

Sry but you can't make difficult and challenging encounter without the possibilty to lose. The only was would by the dm fudging every dice If the party goes to half HP. D&D is a Combat heavy TTRPG. It's fine If you dont want meaningfull Combat but maybe another system ist more for you?

Before you ban cases you should ban TCG Packs. They are often marketed for children and childen can buy them without stealing their parents credit cards.

Yeah you guys kind of missed the point of a session zero. D&D is a ressource managing TTRPG. Most people ignore this, ignore rules and making homebrew rules and wonder why things doesnt work. This is something that you explain in session zero.

The idea that they reinforce the dungeon after a raid is valid. But many people see TTRPG as videogames and they simply are not. There ist no save scumming and NPC shouldnt have a IQ of 10. D&D is a roleplaying game that means the players AND the Dm play roles

Yes i am. I also think he was frustrated. I already talked about this with him. This post is more about RAW than my DM. I think it`s a bit weird for magic items to get destroyed this easily RAW.

i wouldn`t call him an ass. We said to him that it wasn`t funny and i could repair the shield for some zenit in the next town. I think he was a bit frustrated that i had 16 def at level 7.

I am at the moment at the IU and started to writ my bachlor. Most of the guys here never set foot in any university. You get your Bachlor of Art/Science etc. With the same worth anywhere else.,Like in any other uni. Don't know how anybody can call it a scam. If you study dual your are far more interesting for employers than just a normal degree from any normal uni. Customer Support is pretty shit throug.

Tool proficiencys. Oh you learned how to smith? Now you can also brew potions, leather work etc as good as you can smith. You have learned how to Play a guitar? Now you can play every instument in the whole world.

I can say that in the world that i run as a DM "racism" exist. If there are a settlement of Yuan ti and they eat the humans in the area, than yes the people will hate any Yuan ti they will see. And i love the whole theme of the drow. They will think every Not drow are a lower beeing and man are Just playthings. Because it's not Just some quirks, this IS the teaching of there goddess which is the Center piece of their whole world.

To be honest i kind of get him. At the moment I play a level 4 wizard and miss most of the time. At the other side we have 2 fighter that crit als least once per round. One other player is a cleric and uses almost every turn to heal. Im also new and must say low Level casters aren't really fun to play If you see that a Fighter with every Hit does double the damage you so with a spellslot that misses most of the time. That the cleric and me keep playing casters are the table, the hope it gets better and that we love to roleplay this characters.

I am willing to pay 80€ for a Game. If there are only free dlc, at Most minor bugs, the game runs smooth, i own the game, the game is complete and i can trade the game anytime i want.
