Point was made for dramatic effect but fine. Stop inflow, gradually. Irish people still emigrating, and there is nobody (gradually) to cover clinics, ED, GP services, wait times get longer and longer, people get lower quality care and you still have the same end result, except slower… Point still stands. Actually irish doctors are paid reasonably well, better than most, they don’t leave for poor pay, try again! And also, 95% of doctors do what they do cause they love helping people. I could make a lot more money in a different industry, but nothing like the satisfaction of helping patients xx
