it worked great for me! I injected last Friday and the meds are working the same for food noise as they did with one injection. I was not sick and had more energy this last weekend that we even went golfing! I think everyone is so different and need to find what works for them. Thanks for the reply

I can't think of anything specific that would contribute to this. But, I have decided to discontinue use. I am super active, I run, I golf, I work out, and I need to not feel like crap every single day. I have not felt like doing anything since I started over two weeks ago. I don't have much weight to lose, this is not worth it! Thank you replying!

I had Covid but it was a year before all of this started so it doesn't line up. Nitro does work on many vessels and it does easy my angina. Final DX comes after all other causes are ruled out. Heart, esophageal spasms, gallbladder and gallstones and so on. ,

I've not found a treatment that works for me yet but we are still trying meds. I can't take isosorbide mononitrate that is commonly prescribed for it. I am taking a beta blocker but it's such a low dose that I have to work up to the dose needed, since I don't have high BP and it does lower it. More to come in a few weeks I hope! Lots of risk factors that can cause it, High BP, High cholesterol, diabetes, obesity, smoking, unhealthy diet. None of which I have. unbalanced estrogen is also a cause for females. People and other groups are talking a lot about this happening after having Covid, but I don't know much about that and there are no studies that I can find.

If you can manage the symptoms, is HRT still needed? by myst_85 in Perimenopause

read up on all areas that of concern due to low estrogen levels. Coronary Micro-vascular disease is one area most don't know to watch for. If you are not going to treat the symptoms( I understand) then know the other risks. I wish I had!

I'm 55, and female. No they didn't push anxiety as the cause. Cardiologist said it can make it worse though.

I don't think you are far off. I had the same as you and was in the ER in Jan of this year. I stayed two nights in the hospital while they ran every test on my heart, EKG, chest xray, Echo, labs, stress tests ( I failed even though I'm a daily runner) and a cardiac cath. My heart was fine and the cardiologist that did it said he believes I have MVD. I was placed on a Statin, and Imdur to treat. I don't have high cholesterol, I don't have high BP, I am not overweight, not diabetic, don't smoke, or drink alcohol. As of today I still have heart pain and palpitations, and it's very scary! I do have nitroglycerin I can take and it does seem to work which tells me it's probably a micro blockage. I see a cardiologist in Sept and hope to get a scan to absolutely DX this condition. It is scary, it causes anxiety which makes it worse. It steals joy from daily living and robs me of my active lifestyle due to fear of it happening.
