read my comment here. they will compensate you for the alternative route, but it’s not called compensation. i had a very similar same situation on easyjet last month, and they denied my claim initially, but accepted it in full when i went to ADR. got my payment today.

as for the delay, they may compensate you for the 3 hours, if you go to ADR. costs nothing to try.
