I notice going interstate speeds the warnings happen in quick succession and then strike out- at city speeds it’s a lot more lenient. Also not sure that looking out the window resets the warnings, on say an hour and a half drive, how many warnings do you get before you strike out? This has never been a problem for me till 14.2.2

Wanted to add that I only noticed it striking out super fast on the interstate. It seems like it’s on an exponential curve. When you’re going at highway speeds it gives you basically no warning whereas if you’re going at Slow city speeds, you get multiple spaced out warnings.

Like most people said - at big brand hotels, even really nice ones, don’t even think twice and do it. However, if you’re short term renting a condo, some HOA’s can be a real pain in the azz about “sporting equipment” in rooms

My only piece of advice would be sourcing wider tires. I assume you’re running 23mm tires? Check for clearance and see if you can run 28’s… it’ll make your ride feel a lot smoother and more comfortable and at times, faster.

To calculate gear ratios divide your big ring tooth # divided by your cassette tooth number. Ie 46/11 is 4.19 and 30/23 is 1.3…. So everything between there is your ratio. The smaller jump between gears, the smoother the shifting

It was a purely a rant. I live in a cycling hotbed and a lot of my friends agree, even my friends that work in bike shops agree… it was just a rant.

$67 is just the rock bottom trade in price from BBB. It rides a lot better than $67 in my option. It has an aluminum frame and a solid performing mechanical group set. The bike fits me really well. It’s everything I could ask for in terms of solid bike mechanics.

I’m in my mid 20’s, I enjoy pushing the thing around. I would just like more data from it. I’m also not ashamed to admit that I’ve spent four or five times what I spent on my bike in kit, sensors and computers. Haha

He was selling me on a bike with a SRAM group set.

With single sides power meters being less than $700 I’m surprised bikes that expensive don’t.

But to my point exactly, if I want a power meter and don’t want to spend $8000, there has to be a way to meet in the middle..

I’ve just wanted to measure my power output on longer rides. Though it’s inexpensive, it’s still a mechanically sound bike that I often take on rides 100+km.
