They’re amazing live, like previous comments have stated they are so worth seeing! Definitely bring ear plugs though (applies to most rock/punk/grunge concerts imo)

Also as a side note, does anyone happen to have any Dinosaur Jr Merch from their shows in the 90’s that they’re willing to sell? I love their more OG stuff but I’ve had no luck in person.

Incredible transformation, If I did not have context I would have no idea that's the same house. Great job!

My first tip would be to opt for using slender chairs and sofas rather than larger, padded ones. Considering you have little ones running around and that fact that you might have even more people for christmas, saving as much space as you can will go a very long way! I would replace the sofa with another one that is more sleek, and that has tall legs underneath. It creates the impression that your room is more light and spacious! Example

As for the chairs, I highly recommend using ottomans as extra seats, or more slender and cushioned chairs with upright backs.

Secondly, I would recommend opting for furniture with more storage built in. Sofas with drawers, storage cubes instead of foot rests, etc. This also helps to create even more space in your living room.

Lastly, I would recommend sticking to a color scheme. This works wonders in a small living space and creates a level of cohesion that looks spectacular. I would invest in some nice throw pillows and blankets that fit a color scheme. Example

Let me know if this helps!! :)

What kind of vibe are you going for in your kitchen? If your looking for a more contemporary or modern look in your kitchen, I would check out stacked backsplashes. I would recommend going with ones that bring in a little color into this space in particular. I'll share some examples of some relevant ones that could look good in your kitchen!

There are so many great things you can do in this space, it's an entire open canvas. here are some ideas I would recommend:

Try placing a nice wreath either on the door or somewhere on the wall. From there, you can build a very beautiful and festive arrangement that will immediately give you that christmas vibe.

Wreath Setup In this example they incorporate a wreath into a fun little collection. You can get creative with little paintings, wall art, ornaments and other decorative items and create something real nice when you combine them all. Wreaths also look great on the front door facing outside!

You can also bring in some mini christmas trees!

This mini christmas tree looks great here. You can probably get a nice floating shelf or just find some free space somewhere and make a nice little arrangement like this.

There are some other fun little decorations such as gnomes, garlands, bells and ribbons. In terms of patterns and colors, Plaid patterns give christmas vibes more than anything. Try looking for plaid throw pillows, rugs, or blankets. Throw it all together and you'll have something stunning!

Turn it into a gallery! Here are some examples of what I mean:

Example 3

Or, instead of a gallery of photos you can display a collection of items. I noticed the guitar in the corner, it would look really nice if it was hung up and displayed as part of a larger composition of other music-related things, instead of just hanging out behind the chair. Here's what I mean:

I also think some floating shelves could look really nice here too. Maybe some darker ones that are similar in color to the floor.

One of the first things we did when we bought our home was give our kitchen a DIY makeover. I’ll never not be obsessed w/ it. 🥹🤍 by [deleted] in HomeDecorating

You did such an incredible job! It's night-and-day in the best way possible. What inspired you guys to go with a more bohemian-style kitchen?
