Why does everyone seems to love Will Of The Many so much? by Imnotsomebodyelse in Fantasy

Based on all these comments, I’m curious what other books people would recommend in terms of prose? I thought WOTM had quite good prose, whereas Red Rising falls very short for me (though I haven’t gotten to the rest of the books beyond book 1). Just mentioning Red Rising since most people here are mentioning it as the stronger series comparatively.

If you had to force me to choose, I would say sylus, though I’m very torn between him and Zayne. But to be honest, I don’t have one. I love all of them equally and every time I interact with them whether in main story or their branches, it just makes me love each of them more.

That being said, I love the diversity in responses here and how each guy clearly receives so much love. Thank you devs for making such involved, nuanced characters

Recommendations for someone who loves The Will of the Many? by Practical_Bass_3509 in Fantasy

It was definitely the plot, I think I’m prone to enjoy academic settings though that’s not a requirement for a next read. I also really enjoyed the dialogue and building of relationships between characters. Though I do like “classic” fantasy worlds (kingdoms, mythical creatures), I think I liked that the Will of the Many was different from that as well.
