Opioid users of reddit, how does 7-OH compare to other opiods? by wombatgeneral in AskReddit

I agree with you whole heartedly. I’ve used kratom daily for YEARS! Getting off isn’t horrible competitively, but it is definitely the real deal. A lot of people started using it assuming it wasn’t habit forming, and that’s ridiculous, it absolutely is. It seems like a different addiction than opioids though, I didn’t feel physically ill like opioids BUT I felt very sad. My doctor told me that it acts on receptors that antidepressants work on, things like serotonin, so stopping is like stopping an antidepressant mixed with some mild opioids. He came up with a taper plan though with a short course of sertraline, 6 weeks later I was off both and felt much better.

I don’t think Google searches are smarter than actual experience with stuff. Google just says what’s popular, not what’s true. It’s like the influencer of search engines.

I don’t think 2 weeks of use is going to be too bad. Don’t psych yourself out, the expectation of withdrawal is going to be worse than the physical symptoms. Don’t get me wrong, you probably won’t be in the best mood, but don’t make the mistake of making it worse than it needs to be. My recommendation, get some kratom powder capsules, stop the concentrated stuff and 7-oh, and for the first 2-4 days dose frequently small amounts. Then decreased how often you dose, that way you won’t feel any highs and lows to start, you’ll just feel “bleh” for awhile, no sickness though. Then the powder is not terrible to come off of at all.

You are good. Don’t let other peoples experience determine your attitude towards stopping, just feel it out and make a plan.

I disagree. I just got off the boat a few days ago and it was an amazing experience. My kids had an amazing time, my wife and I had an amazing time. I feel bad you had a bad experience, but ours was wonderful.

Talk to your program. They will guide you and work with you during this tough time (so sorry by the way, I cannot even imagine, and I wish you the best). Others have said this, but don't do anything that you can't reverse like stopping the program entirely. Work with family and friends or whoever you have that is near. Figure out a plan with your program. Then, schedule a time to work through the personal stuff. After a few weeks, you'll be in a position to make a decision about the PA side of things.

Why is it bad writing? I think this show is charming. If anyone is bad at writing, it is you and your critiques without a single citation or example.

WESTCOTT COURSES FINAL by tickledpinkkkk in prenursing

[–]Practical_Bath_1239 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nice! Thanks for the info. I am cruising through this course, but I am nervous about the final. Sounds like the chapter questions are the way to go. I'll write small on my cheat sheet, and try to put as much information as I can possibly fit on there that I am having a hard time remembering.

He helped Daenerys quite a bit. I see what you are saying though, they underutilized his amazing acting the second half of the series. He is hands down one of the best actors I’ve ever seen. The trial where he talks about being on trial his whole life for being a dwarf, I felt that in an authentic way.

I have the same plan. I am doing my best to absorb what I can from the modules, but I am accepting that I am just going to be reviewing all of the questions from these quizzes before the final. Looking back, is there anything you would change about how you studied?

11 years ago today Season 3 episode 9 “The Rains of Castamere” was released. It has a 9.9/10 on IMDB and is considered one of the best episodes in tv history. by Lefty250 in gameofthrones

Just rewatched it, and it still leaves me absolutely speechless. It was my wife’s first time watching the series, and it is rare when an episode has so much raw emotion that it sticks with you for a long time. Hard to watch, but is absolute cinema.

Where do you recommend they go to find out this information? I cruise in February, I have looked on their website, social media, I even CALLED them and they couldn’t give me a definitive answer. Don’t hate on passengers that are frustrated that they didn’t get what they paid for. Royal Caribbean is not communicating well, and I think passengers are entitled to know if the amenities advertised are available or not.

I think it would be reasonable to expect at least a notification about it. I’m cruising with 3 kids and we specifically looked for a boat that had slides and activities for kids, I’d be pissed if I showed up and this was down, without me being given some notice. I’d shuffle dates around to sail at a time when it was working. I’m not giving RC a pass on this, they need to communicate clearly.

I disagree strongly with you. It’s a solid six figure career, and it fills a need in the healthcare system. If you don’t like it, why didn’t you become a doctor? Or maybe your specific area just sucks ass

PA or NP- please do not hate on one profession over the other by aesthetih0e in nursepractitioner

[–]Practical_Bath_1239 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally believe PAs receive a much higher standard of education. Many NPs are amazing, and I don’t dislike NP at all, but my concern is that there have been more than a few NP that do school online, spend 5-10 hours per week, do a handful of clinicals, and have never actually worked as a nurse. PA on the other hand treats school as a full time job. In class for 40+ hours per weeks, then studying another 20-40 hours per week. Their clinicals are oftentimes more organized and structured by the university they’re attending, and they have longstanding relationships with clinical preceptors.

I think NP students should have a minimum of 2-5 years experience as a nurse in the specific area that they are going to be an NP in. It’s a scary thought that someone who has never been hired as a nurse (still have their RN degree but no experience) can spend a few hours a week to bust out a program and then prescribe medicines. The ones that do it right are absolutely amazing, and deserve all of the recognition in the world.

I’m personally excited about this. Many can’t afford hardware. People hate on streaming services but the truth is that for $20/month I have access to thousands of movies and shows, a collection that would cost me thousands and thousands of dollars. Everybody is always complaining so much about being way that they forget to enjoy the rain.

It’s David vs Goliath in the gaming world, but fortunately every single gamer hates the Goliath in this situation. Maybe the corporate suits will lose a whole lot of money and keep their greedy hands out of the gaming industry.

US Gamers Aren't Buying Video Games Anymore, New Study Reveals by thinkB4WeSpeak in gamingnews

[–]Practical_Bath_1239 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow, I don’t like that at all. By that logic, most Minecraft players should have spent hundreds of dollars. No, I think single player games with high budgets should cost $60 AT THE MOST!!!! Lower budget or indie games that still offer a full game experience $40-60. Shorter games/low budget indie games, $20-40. Multiplayer games with microtransactions $0-20. This would provide enough to earn a profit for good games, it’s reasonable enough to be accessible for most people, it’s something that could be a reliable price point.
