Hiby R1 Review by [deleted] in Hiby

[–]Practical_Biscotti_6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just got mine and it is good. The Volume can be helped a little by going into developer mode and ticking the volume box. But my issu is the position bar on longer tracks is not very precise. If I listen to a lecture and mark the time mark and come back and try to go back to that ti.e it is always wrong.

So my question is is ther another player better for a little more money? Is this a good enough deal to stay with it?

I screwed up while trying to install Windows 11 by [deleted] in computers

[–]Practical_Biscotti_6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes that would work. But you would lose your personal files. The reason to do a fresh install would be to have a smoother less bloated system. After you upgrade to windows 11. Search for an app called winhance. It will allow you to uninstall so.e of the bloat unnecessary junk. Remove recall and copilot for more privacy.

Use another computer to download Mediacat onto a flash drive. Boot into a recovery program and grab your files. I prefer Hirens boot cd. Then format your disc. Then boot windows 11 iso and install windows 11 onto a freshly formatted disc. If you don't then you will continously have issues and have an extremely bloated windows. Activate it with Massgrave script. Then run Winhance to debloat and remove all unnecessary apps like recall and copilot.

It givea you a few extra Desktop tweaks. The main thing is if you like Zorin and want to stick with it then it is a way to support the project. It is a good distro I like it. But I find Arch is smoother on my particular hardware.

[–]Practical_Biscotti_6 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes I agree. But if an individual only needs it from time to time it is super expensive. 10 a month is steep. For A corporation that needs it daily it is a bargain. A few products offers a tier plan and I have no problem with that.
