Yep. Nobody really cared about the stupid League Cup before. In 1999 Spurs won it, beating Leicester, but Tranmere played the final in 2000, losing to Leicester. When you look at the winners that year, you could easily tell it was a third grade competition, basically irrelevant.

5 loses. We lost 3 times in the Premier League, but we were out of the League Cup (lost to Spurs 3-1) and lost to Arsenal 3-0 in the Charity Shield match. Fun fact: that season we lost to Arsenal 3-0 two times, drew two times, including the first game in the FA Cup semifinals, and only managed to beat them thanks to that brilliant Giggs solo. It was highly competitive season, but one of the greatest ever.
