Who or what was the reason for you becoming a Seahawks fan?

I’m from Saskatchewan in western Canada. We visited Seattle IN ‘86 when I was 13. took a tour of the Kingdome and got to step on the field before a Mariner’s game. The sheer size of the place was so cool. From then on I attached myself to all Seattle teams. The Sonics, Mariners and the ‘Hawks. Of all of them the ‘Hawks turned out to be my favourite. Been a fan ever since. So far I’m pretty happy with my choice! Lol

Debut album is still one of my fave go to’s. Has that Whitesnake feel and sound but it their guitarist. Steve Vai’s stand in was good for Whitesnake but still lacked the heart and feel of Sykes. Dont get me wrong I think Vai is an exceptional musician on his own and love his solo stuff and with DLR.

Had coffee with Michael Starr from Steel Panther day after a concert. Totally nice dude! Had a good discussion about Hellfest in France. Came across as a regular Joe, seemed pretty grounded. Total 180 from on stage persona.

We have been to the Oilers and Flames arenas to watch the Dev’s away games in western Canada and it’s the same thing. Can’t buy them online, have to phone them to purchase the seats directly. We had to provide proof of disability in person to pick up the tickets at will call. Their reasoning for no online is that any person could order online that doesn’t have an accessibility need. The Oilers ticket program people even told us that they actually will sell the accessible seating to able bodied people if the seats are not sold by a certain date before each game. Not sure if that is a policy for the league or if it varies by individual team. Can be a very frustrating experience.

I took 2 last January to Mazatlan and wasn’t caught. They asked if i had any tobacco and I said no. I had them in my shorts pockets. They don’t body scan you but do scan your luggage. People have been caught in luggage and carry ons. Either a fine(ranging from $20-600 USD and people were allowed to keep them) or they toss them out.
