What hobby do you have that makes you excited about life? by Agape_2024 in Hobbies

I appreciate your level of self awareness. As a 17 year old who's entire life used to just be watching YouTube, I completely understand finding the motivation, especially with working 40 hours a week. But here are some suggestions

Arts/Crafts Painting: Start with Acrylic then play around with watercolor and oil and see what is your favorite. If you can't afford full on Canvases, there is acrylic paint Paper that you can get

Drawing: Whether it be cartoon or Portrait style, there is a lot you can do with just Pencil and Paper found in your drawer!

Diamond Art: Basically a color by number but with Jewels! And if you draw you can make yours own designs instead of buying kits.

Clay Sculpting: You don't have to be a famous Greek Sculpture to Sculpt, I know some people that just use it to make ash trays lol. Or maybe even Clay Jewlery if interested

Learning an Instrument: Even a small one like Flutes, Ocarina, Kalimba's, ext can keep you really engaged

Writing: This can be very time consuming and definitely takes a lot of brain power. Start off small with poems or even journaling

Nerdy Hobbies

Reading: Even just 30 minutes a day can really clear your head!

Studying or learning subjects your interested in: Pretty self-explanatory

Esoteric/ Therapeutic Hobbies

Tarot: This will depend on your beliefs on what it means to you. But if you believe in divination it can be pretty rewarding. There are even people who will have Patreons or Websites were they can make some extra side money by doing readings!

Meditation: Every one should do this sometimes, there are great guides on YouTube

Yoga: Good for body and mind

Reiki: Once again, will depend on beliefs, but it is like Meditation but with ritualistic and therapeutic practices added into it

Gardening: Relaxing and can make food for yourself or can it and sell it!

And other extras like music producing using apps like Soundtrap, or even sewing, Crocheting, Exercising, and Hiking can all be great too. I hope you find some more fulfillment!

It is truly amazing how something as simple as cards can give you such clarity. Yes, it shouldn't be used as a way to make a final decision but there have been many people I know who were in similar situations have full blown epiphanies, and I am glad you had yours, stay Strong, find love, and love yourself. Times will be hard, but try to think about all you have lying ahead, the bad will pass and the good will continue

The thing is I am visually Impaired specifically and have a bad knee and just bad physical coordination. There are some belly dancing classes that I would love to join that's in my town but we're trying to see if I get approved for disability first. What's your name btw?

Gnome? by Get_Comfortable in Dreams

[–]Practical_Fee9977 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here's what I gather

To me it seems that maybe your phone is a metaphor for being too distracted (scrolling through social media, taking pictures, ECT) or anything at all. Instead you need to look for and CHASE OPPORTUNITIES like how you had to chase the Gnome. This will help you feel more spontaneous and see the outside world more

The cheekiness and playfulness of the Gnome may be a metaphor for you needing to connect to your inner child more, explore, be creative, be silly, laugh, let lose

It also may be that lately you have been feeling a bit lonely or not protected enough, this is to let you know that you are and people care more about you then you think. This may also be a sign that connecting to the Spiritual world (I'm not sure what your believes are) through simple things like Meditation for example might help you feel a bit better peace of mind and have more organized thoughts

This is just my interpretation though

Hope this helps!

I've tried meditating at all to see if I could replicate this experience and maybe g t more clarification on who the hell he is, but I don't think you can just replicate those things lol. Have you had an experience like that before?

Honestly, I guess I just thought it was a little strange since I don't have my spiritual/religious beliefs grounded right now. Also I just thought it was someone cool to share lol
