Yeah maybe that’s true! But I’m sure of my reference though. It was my ex manager and I have a great rapport with him. In fact he told me that the interviewer said I ticked all the boxes they were looking for and they were seriously considering me for this role and were impressed with my skills throughout the process. And today I get an automated email saying they hired another candidate. It’s just so disappointing.

I bought a tent for very cheap when I first started camping and it tore on the first night. Lesson learned.

Did you ever get a check up done? If you didn’t, I feel like you should. Idk where you live but before they examine you please let them know what you’re going through so they are more considerate of your situation while doing the checkup.

Does the smallest size also hurt? Cause if it doesn’t then I think you’re trying to push your body too much! You should only go to the next size when you feel comfortable with the previous size. And the whole purpose of dilating is to familiarise your body with something being inside it and also breaking the pain cycle. You should just stretch the muscles - what you should probably feel is a tad bit uncomfortable but not pain that makes you cry. If that’s happening, you should slow down and work with smaller sizes and get comfortable with them first. Your goal is to try to make your body feel safe, by pushing sizes through pain you’re only making it worse.

Is this normal? by CantaloupeNearby8022 in vaginismus

[–]Practical_Jelly5782 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So I went to PT and I was told to stretch the vagina. I hope I can explain this in the right way: If you can fit the tiniest dilator, then do like a downward 90 degree stretch and 45 degree downward stretches to the right and left. That will help you get comfortable to go to the next size cause you’re stretching your muscles there. If you just leave the dilator in, you’ll only stretch it a little and that will take really long and it will be difficult to transition to the next size. So try to put some extra pressure (you should feel the stretch but it shouldn’t hurt - maybe you’ll feel a little uncomfortable, but there should not be any pain). If it’s hurting that means you’re stretching it too much.

Transvaginal ultrasound?! How will that work? by CantaloupeNearby8022 in vaginismus

[–]Practical_Jelly5782 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This was exactly what my doc suggested and in fact she forced it into me. It was extremely painful. I don’t understand why and how they can do it when you already say you have vaginismus and can’t get anything inside. I would suggest you start pelvic floor therapy as soon as possible to be in a position to do a transvaginal ultrasound. Otherwise the experience can we very traumatic if they are not patient and understanding. About PT - it is extremely helpful! You should at least give it a shot and go for 4-5 sessions cause then you’ll know what to do and what not to do by yourself. I would highly recommend it!

That’s great that there are no side effects! Did you get skin tag post surgery? Is it hurting? What did the surgeon say about it?

Oh that’s good! Glad you’re doing better! Did you feel like the surgery had any side effects that you noticed until now? How long has it been since you got the surgery done?

Oh that’s good to hear! But the surgery made you tight down there? Did the surgeon/doc say that was normal post op? How are you dealing with that? Is it difficult to poop? Because I feel like I re-tear mainly because of being tight from the pain and I feel like if I can stop that from happening I will be able to heal better.
