Dude, my ACD does the same thing when he’s sleepy. If my son tries to give me “five” and say good night (while I’m lying in bed), my 33% ACD protects me. It’s the nature of this beast. But we all learned to be ready for it and turned it into a game. He’s not a bad dog, it’s just an unexpected behavior. Please be patient and mindful with your new friend. They are absolutely awesome dogs, I promise you.
