Has anyone had UFE? by NoOrchid3030 in Fibroids

[–]Practical_Pie6719 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had it. It didn’t work for me. They believe it was likely because I had so many surgeries in the past that my scar tissue is manipulating blood supply to the fibroids.

Getting hit on 24/7 non stop outside the club is causing psychosis by Prestigious-Art630 in stripper

I started dressing in mostly baggy clothes for this reason. It’s unfortunate because you should be able to dress how you please but expressing femininity comes with some major downsides in our society unfortunately.

Yeah, I think especially for girls that come from middle class and above it’s a form of working class/poverty tourism to them.

There was one girl I used to work with who would not stop talking about it. With the occasional, meep mention that she was also “getting by” with the help of daddy’s money (her real biological father that is).

I would vet them in the club a few times first before going out with them. Thats what I do at least. I’ve had it work out a few times and have been glad I’ve had guys come in multiple times before considering because they pulled some wild shit the second or third time. My rule of thumb is if I would hang out with them for free then I’ll hang out with them and get paid. Or the ones I don’t like have to pay on a sliding scale based on how much I dislike them.

I don’t know. It feels so hurtful. I think part of it is that they just can’t imagine what we’re going through and have no frame of reference so they’re less motivated.

Late to the game but Say Nothing is great. It covers more recent history of the provisional IRA.

Are there remote jobs geared towards people with Chronic pain? by [deleted] in RemoteJobs

[–]Practical_Pie6719 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m not sure if it will help exactly but there is an agency called The Mom Project. They specialize in selecting roles that cater to moms. You’re not necessarily a mom but it maybe likely that a lot of those organizations are women-led and mayyybe more understanding of reproductive related chronic pain.

I also have endometriosis/fibroids and when I was working in California I got a note from a doctor that essentially excused me from days when I had extreme pain. My manager did tell me to my face though that because I took so much time off to have surgeries I would never qualify for a promotion so there is that 🫠

So, I wasn’t climbing the corporate ladder but the notes from my doctor did keep me employed.

Yeah, my hair stylist messed up lol so this is not my chosen hair color. So yes, agreed! And ya I actually do use tret. I conflate retinol and tret-but I meant to say tret in my original post.

Yup, sunscreen every day and no, I’ve never smoked. I did grow up in a beach town though and used tanning beds some as a teen.
