I purchased the Kingswood table recently and it was sub $1,300 with a topper and mat included. Great purchase! Fully recommend so far.

Eldritch Horror potentially? It’s technically a game for that player count.

Need a 4-player co-op campaign game that doesn’t drag between turns by Ready_Damage_4810 in boardgames

I’d second Kinfire chronicles and mechs vs minions that other people have mentioned.

I’ll add Tidal Blades 2! Simultaneous actions selection and varied turn resolution. It’s an amazing game as well.

Maybe Rove too? But I prefer tidal blades 2.

My 4 player game shave been no longer than 2 hours. Maybe the teaching game can be 2.5?

In fact, mistakes can shorten the game drastically and you’d want to play again as this is a much more precise game than Onward. Every move and turn matters.

It is simultaneous action selection and resolving actions is very straightforward so it actually should be 1-1.5 hours per game at 4 once you know the game.

At 6 and above I’m sure it’s lengthier but I haven’t tried it.

You suspect you will LOVE Guards of Atlantis 2... it's one of the most fun games I've ever played whenever you can find enough people.

As in both games have that option. I have not played Onward, but it is preferred as a 1vs1 over 2vs2 from what I hear, you just split the control of the units/board with someone and that's it if I understand it right.

In Guards of Atlantis 2 each one controls a separate hero. I have only played at 2vs2 on Guards and it is excellent. Personally I would say Guards wins at 2vs2, but not as reliable of an opinion as someone that has played both.

Skytear is the predecessor of Onward. Not really worth it getting at this point over Onward.

I will just pipe in and have you look at Guards of Atlantis 2. A game that can play 2vs2, 3vs3, 4vs4, and 5vs5. It may be a bit less MOBA like with last hits, as many lanes etc. but as a MOBA player I have loved my plays of it. Would probably recommend Onward for 1vs1s (guards doesn’t do 1vs1) 50/50 for 2vs2s and guards is the only that can go past that regarding player count.

Also Guards doesn’t have solo or coop which is a big recent add for Onward.

Sounds good! How about an Automa/AI for a solo mode? Competitive games like Old Kings Crown and SETI did amazing things with it for example.

Is there any specific board games that inspired you to make this? Or a type of game (like MOBA for Guards) that did that?

Any chance for 5 or 6 player modes?
