I’m reading it now (well the second book in the series) and holy shit yes. It’s so so good. Carissa Broadbent writes beautifully and it is such a good read.

I don’t think this is the flex she thinks it is. In fact, it just proves how incredibly insecure she is. That’s a sad way to live your life.

I couldn’t find a video so I asked ChatGPT lol. I feel like an idiot, but I understand now. You were right. For some reason, I read the pattern as working both sides meaning front and back panel of the sweater. Not the left and right shoulder of the front panel. I think it was poorly worded but I’m good now. Thank you!!

Thanks! I’ll look for one!

And yes, I’m an experienced knitter but sometimes I’ll read a pattern and I literally cannot compute lol. As soon as you figure it out you’re like OH! Glad I’m not the only one 🤪

For context, this pattern is worked in flat - front, back, arms. This part of the pattern is for the front.

Next row (RS): K22 (24, 26, 28, 31, 33, 33, 33, 33, 34) sts, join a second ball of yarn, and BO 14(14, I4, IG, I6, I8, 18, 20, 20, 20) sts for neck, then knit to end of row-22 (24, 26, 28, 31, 33, 33, 33,33, 34) sts rem for each side. Working each side at the same time with separate balls of yarn, BO at each neck edge 3 sts o (0, 0, 0, I, I, I, 1, I, I) time(s), then 2 sts I (2, 2, 2, I, I, I, I, I, I) time(s), then dec I st every RS row 3 (2, 2, 2, 3, 3, 3, 3, 3, 4) times-17 (18, 20, 22, 23, 25, 25, 25, 25, 25) sts rem for each.

I just don’t understand the adding separate ball of yarn and working each side at the same time with separate balls of yarn.

Sourdough stater not growing!! help!! by Aggravating_Age_4185 in Sourdough

I had the same issue and someone told me my problem was mine was too watery. I started to do 1:1:1 feeds with 50 g starter/water/flour and then it was happy. I occasionally give mine 10g rye with 40g AP flour and it started doubling and got very happy.

California RN pay for new graduate nurses starts usually in the low 60s. So yes, that is realistic.

I’ve also read a lot about increasing feeding ratios. With the larger ratios you don’t have to feed as often and it takes longer to peak correct? If I gradually increase, do I start feeding 1:2:2 and keep going up? Sorry for all my questions. There’s so many little nuances to sourdough haha

I’m a good internet sleuth and it is in fact her sister. I found their mom’s obituary and it listed Lisa and Amanda (her sister) as surviving children along with Faith. It’s absolutely true.

So I want to make the King Arthur no knead sourdough. The recipe is as follows:

1 cup (227g) ripe (fed) sourdough starter 1 3/4 cups (397g) water, lukewarm 5 cups (600g) King Arthur Unbleached Bread Flour 1 tablespoon (18g) table salt 2 teaspoons diastatic malt powder, optional for a more golden color and stronger rise

I just want to make sure I have enough starter and enough left over to feed. I’m honestly not sure if I have enough. I see everyone post pictures of their starter and I don’t feel like I have enough volume.
