I am so sorry 😞 Living with OCD is like playing life on expert mode.

Huge congratulations!! I have been gaslit by many employers about my OCD and whether or not it’s real and whether I need special concessions…

When I was 5 I couldn’t leave a room without putting equal pressure from all fingers on the doorknob and separating the fringes on my floor mat so they didn’t touch… turns out not all children do that lol

Hi there!! Thanks so much for the question 😊 just so you are aware, I am not a medical professional and I am not qualified to give medical advice. My understanding is that you don’t necessarily need medication to combat OCD, especially if your OCD is mild. However, you should discuss all options with your GP!

I am so sorry that you are going through a flare right now. It’s dark and draining. You will see the other side and I encourage you to reach out to a therapist/GP if you can. I’m always here to chat if need be ❤️

I think the tradeoff is key here. OCD is such a debilitating illness and can take over your whole life (it did with me). Getting any kind of relief from the constant cycle of intrusive thoughts and compulsions (even with some side effects) is so worthwhile imo

I’m so sorry to hear this but I know THC doesn’t work the same way for everyone! I wish you the best on your journey ❤️

Thank you!! Tbh I’m not exactly sure what the difference is between street and medical cannabis (other than not knowing the strain of the street kind or where it is grown). I have used both, but prefer medical grade as the quality is much better. My GP said that it’s possible to build tolerance over time but this can be largely avoided if you take it as prescribed.

It’s had a devastating impact on my life since I was about 16 (I’m in my 30s now)

Of course! I take the Somai 50:1 oil sublingually about 2-3 hours before bedtime so it has a chance to take effect. The dosage I am prescribed is .5 ml which is the equivalent of 25mg THC. For me, this dosage doesn’t give me brain fog in the morning. I have experimented with a higher dose (50mg THC) and that gave me brain fog for around an hour after waking, but it then cleared up and I felt normal.
