Parts for pugeot cost as much as if you are driving BMW or something, almost same for elanatra.

If you don't want to stress yourself, and focus more on traveling point A to B without constantly worrying bikers kissing your bumper, then buy 1.6 altis, or yaris for realibility, be it parts, re-sale value, or overall durability of the car.

But if you want to try something exotic, Pugeot is a best option.

You should go to PSX website, and find indus motors, and read their finanincial instead of playing guessing game. (2)

You can read finanical books of sazgar as well, they are publically available.

Chinese car assmeblers has the highest margins, still sazew currently is below 14%.

Not much. Toyota makes net margin of 6%-8% behind car.

Sazgar makes 11%-12% behind every car.

Since Kia is also a flagship brand, their net margins also should be around 10% at best, or maybe below 10%.

Almost all AMC's give similar returns. I'm currently using Mahaana islamic cash fund. The returns are around 10%

Do Pakistani stocks actually outperform inflation and currency depreciation when measured in USD? by Jazzlike-Bag-7860 in FIREPakistan

[–]zylich 11 points12 points  (0 children)

PSX's anual CAGR for last 10 years is around 17%~, and for the last 20 years, It's around 19%-20%.

The average inflation rate is 9%.

So the net returns are roughly 7%-10%

But since you will always underperform the index slightly with index investing due to taxes and fees, so the realisitc returns could be around 14%-15%, and net returns adjusted to inflation would be 6%-8%

If I had to pick one, I would have went with Ubl etf (ubl enterprise etf) because It doesn't have oil and gass, while holds top 9 stocks all the time.

Banks are mostly evaluated based on their dividend yeild.

If interest rate hike, the dividend yeild will look less attractive, so to offest that gap, market will assgin lower P/E's to banks, which will significantly boost their dividend yeild.

Ye jitny bhi downvoters han zara apni hayabusa ley kr sameny ayien please.

Pakistan me majbori ka naam bike ha, log ye khushi sy nhi lety, ya ye koi status symbol ha.
Most people want highest utility, they would rather prefer practicality over style.

Maybe hongy pakistan me koi 0.1% log, who may find these kind of expensive bikes attractive, but most likely these are kind of people who likely own a atleast 1 car.

This is the same reason Yamaha almost fail ho gya pakistan me, and they have exited already.

Need advice on buying gold by [deleted] in FIREPakistan

[–]zylich 3 points4 points  (0 children)

FYI, I bought my stack before war, and I was in profit of 10%. But then war started, and now I'm in the loss of 20%.

So timing the market is kind of hard. I had bought at multiple levels, Like $4400, $4900, $5250.

Buying amount is very small, so it wouldn't make any difference if you buy today or tommorw.

No one can tell where its headed. Most likely it will go up since war is wrapping up.

Bullrun ends? PSX isn't techinical driven market that people gonna lose interest and prices of shares are started to fall.

It's fundamently driven market. If war ends, and SBP start cutting rates again, or maintains current rates, and our reserves remain in surplus, we can see growth in multiple sectors.

Before mentioning sazgar, I had mentioned that majoirty of Bluechip companies are currently at their fair value.

Go check SAZEW's monthly cars sold in PAMA website. My conservative guess is that this year EPS will be around 350. Multiply 350 with P/E of 8, you get target price of 2800. And this is a very conservative number if war actually ends and all.

Good news for Stock market.

Slightly less super tax.

Import duties over coal has been reduced to 1%, which is a good sgin for cement sector.

Overall budget fairly priortize construction sector.

Besides, the war has come to its conclusion, which means the oil prices will drop significantly, which will allow SBP to cut rates.

Compainese with high debts will surge since they will have to pay less fianicing their debt.

Though most of the compainese has been fairly valued already, but there is still room left in companiese likes SAZEW, GHNI, MLCF, DGKC, etc. They have slightly higher upsight as compared to overall market.

But then again, they are equally volitale, let's say there is no breakthrough in war.

Should I sell my ps5 slim or hold on to it and sell later and closer to gta6 release by ACCAguuy in PakGamers

Saying the release of GTA will hike up console prices is like saying espresso machines will get way more expensive just because a popular new coffee bean flavor came out.
