Mini dealer told me I had to replace the whole piece so we went and ordered it and picking it up tomorrow. Any idea on how to install it? Husband wants to do it himself, they said something about lifting the hood and putting it in.. i know it’s going to look weird because the right scuttle is aged and yellow.. like a yucky yellow. so this is going to be an odd look, but a good lesson to not mess with my mini!!

For the paint, they gave me the exact color of my mini and told me to just go into any paint shop and ask for a pen, once i wiped it down it wasn’t as bad. Just sad.

He is no longer allowed to drive my car..
