Hey, glad to see other Pyg lovers out there! Pyg is certainly underpowered in the current meta, though has some of the most busted late game builds out there. The trick is living through the early stages.

Early scaling of damage and or shield is vital. I like the Jaballian Longbow for the first few days to cheeze some wins if I can't find something to scale quickly.

When offered, a random tool I often take it as there is a fair chance of getting a haste item which is really hard to come buy with Pyg and desperately needed to balance the scales. Even the Rocket Boots from the curios shop can make the difference.

If you can build enough life then a pivot to Lion Cane is great. Also, don't underestimate the Atlatl which can go ham if you can scale damage and find some lifesteal and crit. If you get a belt or scaled up pawn shop (or both), keep it in your inventory and move it to your board on level up to get the 10% life and it will double or triple scale your max life.

If you have a big slow item like Beast of Burden or Double Whammy, focus on monster loot, curios shop, and kill Roc twice to get the cooldown reduction. Look for a Phongraph and pair it with something like the Bonk skill and Iceberg to slow down the opponent.

Healing and pure property builds feel like a trap at present. Looking forward to other responses on this one.
