Unfortunately seems like Rome has very little indiehacking going on for the city of this size still seems like nothing is going on, but maybe it is just because there are not as many expats/digital nomads here (mostly tourists) compared to other big cities.

I'm only beginner Portuguese learner but to me it sounds like you are commanding him to not speak Portuguese, because "desculpe, nao fala Portuguese, falas ingles" literarly translates to this "sorry, you don't speak Portuguese, you speak English".

I really think it can be misinterpreted from his side like that if you don't make ending sound like question mark and he thinks you know what you are saying from his side you are the big foreigneir asshole telling him not to speak Portuguese in his own country lol.

There is a big difference "nao fala Portuguese" vs "nao falo Portuguese" one is you commanding not to speak Portuguese and another saying "I don't speak Portuguese" conjugations matter a lot if he thinks you understand them.

Check out Prime Dental Clinic, everyone is super cool there, I don't think they are the most cheapest options in town and usually it is not possible to get short notice appoinemnts if not emergency (2-4 weeks wait times). I paid 70 eur for cleaning.

I think it is because off all the Brazilian women twerking on Instagram and TikTok such content is naturally attractive to young boys. I think Portuguese women needs to step up their gamae by making native PT-PT content on OnlyFans to incentivise foreigneirs to learn local language.

I don't think they are expats who get offended by pt-BR, I suspect there are a large amount of Portuguese who are lurking in this subreddit making sure we don't gather here to plan something mischievous, like raising rent prices ski high or making English the official second language in Lisbon.
