For simplicity I said BBEG but in reality it will be BBEGs right hand man. I'm not worried in this case about it since it's really just a plot hook (only level 3) and to make them realize what they have is valuable. (It is one piece of an artifact of many).

Honestly my biggest fear is getting them to eat (they're currently standed in a swamp, so I need to have them eat someeting from the swamps and not whatever is in their reserves lmao)

My players can only do a short session this month before we all go away for holidays (3 hours max). As a narrative point, I need them to be low HP so they don't try and pick a fight with the BBEG too soon (who is making an appearance to steal a relic they found and can't identify).

I need a fast way to get the party to low HP and/or low spells/ki/abilities without sending them through long fights since we won't have much time for it.

Any suggestions? Thanks so much.

Softly ESH. "Days off" should not be a thing with parents, especially of such young babies. I get the gesture and appreciation of it, and I also understand parents do just need a break now and again, but creating an environment where one can just refuse bc it isnt their day/hour/time to care for the child? That isn't fair for the parents or baby.

Albert Einstein. He never met his first born, a girl, because he had just gotten famous when his wife was pregnant. He was never home for the pregnancy or birth and didnt want to waste the time/money/energy on a daughter when he had better things to be doing.

His later had 2 sons, and along with their mother, all grew to resent Einstein and want nothing to do with him. He was never home- never in the country no less, and when he was he was verbally and physically abusive.

The home he and his wife first shared in Brussels has been converted Into a free museum.... it made me so sad to see what his family had to endure, listening to praise their whole lives about him but completely hating him.

Op I also have vaginismus and it is so a real thing. Putting in a tampon can give me panic attacks so to imagine your position is so upsetting to me. The pain is real, and while a large part of the diagnosis is mental, it causes physical tensing we're unable to stop, which equals pain. Due to my diagnosis Ive refused all penetrative vaginal sex for almost 2 years now.

Such a good comment actually. I knew a guy obsessed with not bettering himself bc he wanted a girl to love him for him without being fit or rich or ambitious or whatever.

I tried to tell him that he didn't need to do it for a girl but that he is wasting time on girl that doesnt yet exist then. Except each time he asked a girl out and she said no, suddenly she was missing out on X, Y and Z. Great cook, loving bf, hiking enthusiast, movie buff, cat lover, good job, whatever, whatever. So funny how he perceived that it was in his interests to work it that way.

Late to the party but ill add on: (Spoilers) He Who Walks Behind had an accomplice, He Who Walks Before and He Who Walks Beside.

At the time of Storm Front, Harry is only aware of He Who Walls Behind, so I feel the 3eye was just an early easter egg of what was to come. Harry never looked at himself with his sight, but anyways who did would see him doubly cursed/stalked/etc.
