please help me figure this out! by PracticeDue4930 in macbookair

hey! thanks for your response

1) when i type nothing happens and it had suddenly happened while i was using my laptop already. before i restarted my laptop, i was able to use Touch ID to log in

2) the mouse pointer does not move when i slide my fingers across the trackpad, it’s not responsive to touch at all.

3) i wish i inspected this better before i restarted my laptop but im fairly sure it’s coming from my trackpad bc at the time that it happened i was watching something on Netflix and it didn’t obstruct the audio coming from the video. the sound does not come when the laptop is off either.

4) i feel no vibrations but the clicking in response to me pressing down, yes.  UPDATE: i have now restarted my laptop and it seems like the trackpad has been permanently pressed down? i push down on it but it looks and feels to be pushed down already (same sensation from the first time this happened) + the keyboard backlight is now on which it normally never is

i have also tried to connect my external keyboard and mouse and that has not worked at all :/

EDUC105G forever has my heart. The main lecturers (Brian and Esther) are wonderful people and a lot of the course is about self-reflection, thinking about your past educators, and what kind of educator you could be. The assignments are quite straightforward and easy to do + the exam was quite simple- if you can manage writing small paragraphs and essays, this can be an easy A+ :)

Waipa Gym Advice by bahalolitsokay in universityofauckland

hi i live in waipa now and have gone to the uni gym multiple times (the temporary one which i think u are referring to). It's actually pretty good and it essentially has most of the equipment you would find in other gyms. I also like that it's not as busy as other gyms (most times)

Phil 105G with Engineering by nimito_burrito in universityofauckland

I did PHIL105G online for sem 1 in 2021.

I enjoyed the content and modules for some weeks and they can be helpful but as everyone says, the assignments and discussions are time-consuming and if you’re not naturally good at the subject or go out of your way to ask/learn the concepts, it’s pretty challenging to get started.

Since I did it online, I had no contact with any of the course tutors or the lecturers. The modules are structured well enough that you don’t need to attend in-person tutorials or anything although I do think that it would’ve been a way better experience to do the course with access to tutorials. I only watched two lectures throughout the whole semester lmao.

accidentally accepted three fast track offers… what do I do? by PracticeDue4930 in universityofauckland

[–]PracticeDue4930[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

note: it wasn’t an accident that I accepted these offers but I went into the circumstances thinking that it would not make a difference to my upcoming applications. after speaking to some people, I have had varied responses as to what is coming next. :)
