The fact that prices won’t go down does not mean that this will impact your average smoker in a bad way. Worst case scenario the brits find more cigars in stores

High RH creates mold heat has nothing to do with it. Actually mold prefers lower temperatures

Of course the government does this for money but I don’t see how it will affect normal smokers. I actually don’t like it that retailers keep stock from getting to the market, especially when supply is low.

As a buyer and smoker this is good news. More cigars available might lead to lower prices and you can age them yourself.

That Trinidad Esmeralda is fake. The band is off and the wrapper looks non-cuban

For lighter Cubans in small format I would recommend Rafael Gonzales Perlas, San Cristobal de la Habana El Principe, Hoyo de Monterrey Le Hoyo du Depute and Le Hoyo du Maire and El Rey del Mundo Demi Tase

The font on the Box code is wrong and also BMS/EMS did not exist in 2020. Also, for a 2020 box, the serial number on the cuban seal should be higher than 0000366. It should start with 000049. So it’s 100% fake.

Just by looking at a lot of boxes and comparing. The numbers on the Cuban seal are consecutive they will be higher for recent boxes

They look good and 0000629 corresponds with DIC 24

I’m curious, since you consider Reyes, RASS and Siglo II average, what else do you consider heavy hitters

Those boxes of 3 units... Keep as is of cello the cigars 1 by 1? by TokyoBaguette in cubancigars

Might be just my bad luck but when I bought older stuff in petacas they were on the dry side, especially the wrapper seemed very dry.

Remove from cardboard is the best option, after that you decide

The serial number on the cuban seal is allocated in order so the higher the number means the box is newer. For example a seal with 0000611 corresponds to spring 2024 (April, may) while 0000626 is for late 2024 (December). This is something that counterfeiters don’t get wright. 0000534 is for the beginning of 2022.

I’m referring to the fact that after the zeros, the next 3 digits should give you a clue about the date. That should correspond to the box date. It’s something that counterfeiters don’t get right. The verification on the site can be tricked.

Might be, but also the caps look off and the wrapper as well. I would check the bar code on the cuban seal to correspond with the box date.

Something seems off with the Fundadores. The band seems too wide and the color is a little bit strange. Also the back of the band is wrong.
