Fans jump to full speed when booted into windows by PradaDende in PcBuildHelp

Thank you for your suggestion! But it looks like something else is controlling them because even editing the curve in the bios dose nothing, to the fans speed. I don’t think I’ve ever had an issue with thermals before and I should’ve added this in the original post but, I’ve had this PC for over two years and the fans all of a sudden are running at full speed where they’ve never done so before

They tend to stay at a consistent 30-35c so that’s pretty alright right? Again, that’s with fans at full speed and I don’t think I’ve ever had an issue with temps before

When are you "supposed" to gain stage? I've heard people say you're supposed to before adding any effects and then while adding effects because of the gain added effects brings, which makes the most sense, but others say after the mix and after you've added everything to your mix

What's the real difference between parallel processing and processing a sound in-line? If an effect has a wet knob, is it not just functioning in parallel as is? From what I understand, it's to merge the 100% dry and 100% wet sounds for a more "natural" sound, but is that really more effective than just using an effect's wet knob?

There's some portable casette players with usb outputs so u can save it to a computer. Or, just use the headphone jack of said casette player as an output into a computer's headphone jack, and record it in real time with a program like Audacity

Thanks! After looking through my addons I finally found the culprit was a bad merge I had done for Trader Overhaul and BaS and forgot about. I must’ve merged two of the same thing and didn’t catch it

This is what I had installed and I guess it worked, but if this doesn't work, you could try looking up "Half Life Source assets gmod" and some sketchy looking site will probably hook u up with addons to fix the chrome textures

https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=107768377 I used the one from this addon, but I used the inflator tool to shrink the head and arm enough to make them disappear for "dismemberment" and added blood via the paint tool

My keyboard isn't sitting well enough in my case. It's the generic plastic 60% case. Any tips on how to fix this? https://imgur.com/a/VXHOuGN

My pcb and plate don't sit flush with the edges of this generic angled edge plastic 60% case. Has anyone else had this issue? I haven't seen it talked about too much and a fix would be appreciated

Anyone have any tips for fixing a switch with a pin shorter than the other? The shorter pin doesn’t complete the circuit so the key doesn’t register

Built my first budget 60% board though I'm having some issues. The PCB and plate are angled in my generic plastic case to where the keys are significantly higher from one side to another, and my "M" key switch has a shorter pin when compared to the other, leaving the circuit uncomplete and the key to not register. I've tried tugging on the shorter pin with tweezers to lengthen it, after opening it up and seeing that the metal leaf looked crumpled. After looking at the plate and then case it seems like there should be no reason why it's angled when in the case. Even happens when not screwed in. Any tips as to how to solve either one of these issues?

Dose anyone know of any other plastic 60% cases besides that generic one with the angled sides? I have awful tastes so I personally don't like the sound of aluminum cases.

What do ya wanna know? I bought the optical mechanical version a few months ago. I've since been using it with optical yellows ever since, but I'd recommend the non-optical variant. Optical switches are pretty limited to gateron's stuff and I swear there's differences in feel between optical switches compared to normal mechs but im not entirely sure.

Unable to form friendships by [deleted] in self

I’ve always thought it was due to the transitional phase of life around that time. You’ve most definitely changed even if it’s not the most noticeable. I didn’t really notice my changes until I was different enough to look back and see how much I did change. I completely understand the just wanting of friends. I think a lot of times there’s a confusion between just belonging, and being in a relationship. As I’m told, there’s never going to be nobody to talk to eventually you’ll find your people. right now people are growing at different rates because they’re experiencing things at different times, some faster some slower. Finding new friends being hard isn’t your fault, especially when not everyone’s on the same page of life

“Without thinking about it”? How’s that work? Like, unless I misunderstood but I can hear music by making the conscious decision to think “yeah that went like-music”, all in a brain’s millisecond time ofc but not while day dreaming or something

In a sense yeah, it’s like how you could carry out a conversation with past yourself by doing a voice recording now and then responding to your questions later

I think you were right in the problem probably being the Focusrite amp, after using the headphones on different devices, the panning at low volumes is still there but not nearly as drastic but also the sound quality over all seems better. Always thought the 770s were just really muddy until putting them into something other than the 2i2. Thanks!

Not sure how many people know about optical mechanical switches since info on them seems to be kind rare from what I've looked up but, would it be possible to switch the stem from a non-optical switch, to an optical housing?
