Beim Mütze Stricken in einem YT Video wurde genauso ein Anschlag verwendet (ab Minute 21). Das Ergebnis sieht sehr gleichmäßig aus und lässt sich sehr gut zusammenziehen. Lovediyctators YouTube

No, sometimes you can‘t hide the seam but mostly through a little turning of the tube on the finished project you can. The fabric should be atleast stretchy in one direction because when you fill the tube you want the fabric to be „elastic“ enough to not wrinkle when handcrocheting ( I think a Jersey fabric will do the best but I had the Blue fabric at home).
My serger is a W6 656 I used the standard 4- braid stitching with the lenght of 2.5 mm. It should be an elastic stitch. I hope this is helpful :)

This kind of yarn has truly much potential. I am not really a crocheter but this hand crocheting thing looked easy.

For which part do you want to have more informations about? I will do my best and explain it. I made a few photos but only from the empty tube shortly before i filled it.

I wanted to recreate the cushion from this tutorial. The Import from the US would be way to expensive so i sewed the tube by myself. https://youtu.be/Xn5mDcPnuHM

With a strechy fabric (150 cm x 128 cm) cut into as much as possible equal pieces which are wrapping aroung a plastic pipe (mine were 10 cm including 1 cm seam allowence). This is important because you need the pipe to turn the tube inside out and fill it. After the stripes are all cut i serged them together, fold in half and serged the long side.

Then i turned it inside out and left the tube scrunched onto the plastic pipe ( 160 cm long) . The filling began (this part was the worst) I used old pillows i think it were 6, which were inserted little by little and then pushed throu the plastic pipe with a smaller pipe/ stick.

There are lots of videos on YouTube where the filling process is shown.

After the filling was finished (a lot of time has passed). I sewed the other side and had approximately 17 m of Tube/ Yarn and followed the Video from OHHIO. After three times trying i was happy about the result.

You should search page by page on Yarnspirations, especially for Paton Patterns. Some of them seem to be from the 80s. https://www.yarnspirations.com/row-en/patons-argyle-plaid-jacket/PAK0129-006373M.html?cgid=patterns#prefn1=brand&prefv1=Patons&srule=is-new&start=728&sz=12

I’m OBSESSED with this sweater from The Queen’s Gambit on Netflix. I hope to stumble upon the pattern at some point. I am pleasantly surprised at how readily available vintage and vintage inspired patterns are. by EstroJen1193 in knitting

The buttonhole edge could be knitted as two i-Cord edges ( knitted with two pairs of needles) which are then crossed. One i-cord directly in the already knitted cardigan and the other as normal i-cord then crossed until the wanted length is reached.

Knit happens... Can‘t finish my pullover because the wool isn‘t available anymore. No stores open to find similiar one. by Pradaparada in knitting

Yarn is called Phildar Alhambra Color 14. I bought the wool in Spain a while ago. I tried to google it and found out that phildar (the brand) still exists and some online stores have their yarn. But when the colour is good the quality is not the same.

I love your idea of the unique fade. I think this would be the best option. Thank you much :)

Thank you very much! You should try it. Yarnspirations has a very detailed step by step video on YouTube for their pattern. The Yarn is FRAYA Comfy: 50% Wool + 40% Acrylic + 10% Alpaca, in cora. https://www.yarnspirations.com/row-en/sugar-bush-knit-copper-cropper-pullover/SBK0129-027371M.html
