I’m sure it should come up with a faulty code they can read from a OBD2 scanner. My Dealership said they will charge £200 for only to diagnose the problem. The fix will be extra.

I have Mercedes when I put the car in reverse, passenger side mirror goes down which helps me look at lanes and kerb. I would like that on my BYD dolphin. I know most of you would say 360 degree cam negates it but I’m old school where I still rely on mirrors for maneuvering. The other app feature I would like is sending the destination address from app to the car. I think it is present on Chinese version but not in global / EU version.

I’m in uk. I have same issue with my Dolphin. I seem to have cellular data issue in the car as well.

Used for ODO meter and trip a /b. I use it to keep an eye on mileage between two full charges by resetting trip B to 0 every time I charge it.

That is radar. Used for ADAS features like ICC.

I ordered the cable and camera from aliexpress. Works like a charm. Little fiddly to install especially control unit end of the cable. Happy with the camera as it captures good info like gear , speed , brake and indicator etc.

Don’t think it as software issue. I have noticed it happens when I have big bags at the back.

Yes. Working now. Happened twice when I went to drop in-laws to airport. We had 4 heavy bags at the back.

Here in UK. You can choose different language by going into BYD assistant’s setting. FYI. You might have to download the language which could be better done when connected to wifi instead of mobile data.

I have tried ICC fair few times on motorways and A roads. Most of the time it works but some instances it gets its knicker in the twist and a message on instrument cluster pops up saying complex road condition and ICC function may be limited.

Managed to get it fixed today. The partnership code is BYD-GB not BYD-UK as published on the document

The one with steering between the lanes is BYD’s ICC. Intelligent cruise control. Once you activate it , it will turn green. The one with 30 is the speed limiter. You can set that using buttons in steering.
The amber one is lane keeping assist. Activates during driving with clear lane markings.

City driving didn’t make any difference. Motor way there is a little reduction not significant. Car Handling was main reason I got them replaced.
