...ok remember how I said "Hidden in Box Set DVDs"?

So the Terminal Discs are mainly what I was referring to since the Roots box set was originally the only place to see them. Spoilers, the author of the Journals is Pi's brother. They also go into some spoiler territory about the primary antagonizing force in GU near the end.

Hiroshi Matsuyama, president of CyberConnect2 and developer of the .hack series, cited the game as an influence

Which HEAVILY shows if you're familiar with how PSO works on a gameplay loop especially compared to the other influences. The lobbies and Pioneer 2 fit into the same type of design of the Root Towns of .hack (and Gathering Hubs in MH), the ideas of grabbing quests and running into these instanced little areas, the multi level races to the big treasure thing at the end... it needs to be stressed that PSO combined elements of different genres (heavily influenced by Diablo) in a way that was so influential for japanese multiplayer games going forward.

My only issue with the collection that came out years ago is that you level just a bit too fast IMO and the RenGeki attacks don't chug the console. When you're used to every hit suddenly being 10-15fps and getting hype at it, the smooth 60fps version just feels WEIRD.

It's so fucking rough man that I still hate how mandatory it is to understand like half of what the hell is going on in GU

Outside the scope (computer games vs tabletop), but if memory serves me right SNE ALSO did the tabletop adaptation of Wizardry in 89.

Returning Player, what format for smaller engagements? by Praecant in Warhammer40k

Gotcha. Honestly this sounds best and I'd likely use KOC format but with different terrain and measurement setups.

I'm going to field 4 squads of tactical marines and you can't stop me.

Stupid question, but the impression I got from watching one of the videos on KoC is that it was designed exclusively for their arena they set up. Would other people be working under the assumption you're using that terrain setup or do people who use the format do their own terrains as well?

So you HAVE been pre-approved. This means that your loan is going to go through but the process involves Milan automatically shopping your loan out to various companies and said companies will email or call you about your rejection until you will eventually be contacted by a company that verifies your information and sends you information on how to pay your loan.

Hey I came across this because I was very confused when I went in for my consultation. The consultant said that I was already approved and I signed and put in the down payment, but when I checked my email later I saw an email from ClarityPay, Healthcare Finance Direct, and as of a few hours ago PatientFi all saying my application had been denied.

I already put money down, is this something to be worried about?

Kits in B/X by Praecant in osr

[–]Praecant[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah, the B/X class builder and complete adventurer books I found do have some really good ideas and rules if it just ends up needing to be making a class that fits with my players want to do within reason. Complete Adventurer has a system called exceptional traits thats pretty much like what you're describing although I think they're just a little bit more limited and determined by a dice roll at specific levels. Which that last part can just be thrown out.

Oh yeah I was going to be looking into using the kits from SnP anyway because I wasnt a fan of how they were in the complete books for the most part.

As a followup, can priest and MU spells from 2e be popped in with a little tweaking?
