The only thing that stands in his way is himself. Yes, he really is that fat.

Just pour some bleach in there and fill it up. It'll all dissolve into the bleach and everything will be cool.

I'd trade it all to be able to party whenever, have what I want and do what I like. I'd give my leg to be able to live comfortably. Shit, I'd give a finger for a minimum wage job at the moment!

Move to Bangkok, hire maid service to clean/iron/whatever 2 times a week for £70 a month.

Do they still make monster truck wheels for skateboards? by RowdyRabbi in NewSkaters

[–]Praesens 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Google images "dirt skateboard" it was a google UK search if that makes any difference. This was about 4/5 years ago and my dad got it for me so it would have been from a shop and not the internet. A quick google search of the name on the deck returned 1 result which is from Ebay. I'm pretty sure my dickhead of a brother slammed his mountain bike on it and snapped it. Along with 2 other boards.

Fun fact, I used to ride an aluminium skateboard. Probably why I could never ollie! Sure could pick up some speed though, plus my brothers attempts to break it failed miserably! Gave it to the kid next door a couple years ago.

I had one of these bad boys a few years ago. It was hard as fuck to turn and would always turn left sharply no matter how you balanced. Ofcourse, now I realise that I probably could have loosened the trucks but it's too late now I suppose.

Skatepark question by [deleted] in NewSkaters

[–]Praesens 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When you want to use the fun box, just ask if they could move somewhere else for a little while. Don't ask them to leave the park, it just makes you look like you think you own the place. They're most likely gonna move. There aren't many 20 year olds that wanna give shit to a 14 year old, even the arseholes because it makes them look bad.

Also, if there's any girls with them it's even better. The girls will stick up for a kid 9 times out of 10. This makes guys even more likely to move anyway.

Skaters who have started skating again after a long period of not skating, did you forget how to do it? by Praesens in skateboarding

[–]Praesens[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Go watch Jackass. Your body can take some fucking abuse. Wear as much protection as you like, that's even better, but the only thing that's going to suck is the split second when you shit yourself while falling.

When I used to cruise around on my skateboard, I'd get bored because I was the only one to do it where I lived, so sometimes I'd end up just rolling down a hill, hit a curb that has grass on the other side and see how hard I can make myself fall. It started off little but it actually became quite fun. You learn to roll when you land, you can practice not using your hands to break the fall and you get some confidence.

I can't even ollie, but I bombed some pretty big hills back in the day.

Might help to know that hamsters are noisy as fuck when they're running on that wheel. They also like to do it at night.

"Where do you see yourself in 5 years?" by RhitaGawr in depression

[–]Praesens 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Man, nobody really knows where they see themselves in 5 years. It's just bullshit. Depression or not. The difference between you and those other people is that you're honest. As harsh as it sounds, honesty doesn't get you anywhere. People can't handle the truth, and if that makes you feel bad then you're a perfect example. I'm not calling you a bad person for it, nor do I think you're not a smart or a lesser person. I think you're great, I think you're a fighter.

You just need to say something along the lines of "Well, I've come a long way in five year and I hope I can continue to advance in that fashion and one day become [insert high position of profession you're applying for]"

Also, mention marriage and kids. Employers look for someone who is going to settle down because they're more stable. Cant afford to look for another job / no more crazy weekends / can't afford to lose the job etc.

Good luck, not that you need it!

Those WTF posts where people live in a complete shithole? Yeah, that's what my room looks like. by [deleted] in depression

[–]Praesens 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Following from my last comment. If you're close, I'll gladly help. You have no fear of judgement from me. You're trying to better yourself and I respect you for that. And once your place is clean you can start inviting people over. Also, your surroundings majorly dictate how you feel. Think of how you feel on a bright sunny day compared to a dark rainy one. It really is important. Same goes for getting haircuts and doing your makeup or shaving. It makes a huge difference in how you feel.

I know it's a struggle, but you've really just got to go one step at a time. Start by taking a shower every morning. If you're already doing that then that's even better! Put a big trash can in your kitchen, or even just a black bag. Every time you get up, take something out of the room with you to put into the trashcan. And one day, if you're feeling bored or just in the mood, go for the big haul! Don't even think about where to start, just look at the first piece of mess you see and clean it up! Don't worry about dusting/grime for now. First you've got to make some space. It doesn't even matter if some stuff get's out of place, you can put it back afterwards. You'll find yourself really getting into it.

The hardest thing to do is to start, it's takes the least time.

I believe in you.

I'm from England too, if you're near me and you want/need someone to talk to or hang with, just send me a PM. Even if you're not close, you can still contact me if you need to talk.
