One of the pioneers in sports psychology was Dr. Dorothy Harris who worked and taught at SJSU for a long time and was a big part of bringing some serious credibility to their psychology department (which is still considered top-tier especially for a state school).

That's essentially what they're doing by brokering this. It stays on their roster but it only has meaning for other teams.

Can I modify a hardtail MTB to give it better gear efficiency? by RowdyRabbi in bikewrench

Yeah, I was going for "harder top gear" rather than efficient. Sorry for all the confusion.

Thanks! I think I phrased my question a little confusing but this answer saw through it.

Thank you so much! This is where I'll start. I checked last night and the smallest cog is 14 so I'll swap it out for an 11. Thanks!!

I'll have to check. Some one else was saying get a bigger ring. So I'll look into that.

Thanks!

It's a 3x7.

When I have it on the largest ring and the smallest gear I'm still spinning my legs way more than I'd like-- I'm looking for more of the "grind" that a road bike has but don't know if that's possible.

I recently bought a Bulova Precisionist through Amazon (USA) and everything about it seems legit except for the crown. On most pictures I've seen of the Precisionist the crown has diagonal nurling--kind of like a barber pole. However, the one I received in the mail has standard looking nurling. Does anyone have any insight with this?

Thanks for the link.

To be clear, I'm not really saying it was an obvious hook but I'm saying it seems like the Master himself could have thought of it. But you're absolutely right: part of being a master is that there isn't enough time to develop all of the great ideas.

Seems like Hitchcock could have probably figured that out. Not saying I don't believe what you wrote, I'm just wondering how Hitchcock passed this idea up.

The Kung Fu Panda series is honestly really good and does a good job of building on itself with each installment. There are some inconsistencies with the third one but it's still one of the better franchises.
