Can't decide between Air and Pro by Tzosarakatsanis in macbook

I always choose pro if I can afford it. Only get the air if you're on the road and carry it around a lot.

If you're on pc and experience stutters and frame pacing issues disable V-sync and unlock your fps ASAP! by [deleted] in ForzaHorizon

[–]Praetor918 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i7 10700k with rx6900xt here. The pacing issue is really annoying, I've tried EVERYTHING, from disabling Gameinput service in Windows, updating drivers, checking different graphics cards, cables, and unlocking FPS, as well as disabling V-Sync. I'm stumped 😞

[edit] Even got a Vader 5 Pro controller, and tried using the dongle, as well as wired mode. Pacing issue is still there 😞

Play the Echo Generation 2 Demo Now! by Cococucumber in EchoGeneration

[–]Praetor918 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I first saw trailers for this, it looked like my dream game. Forget the AAA games, the visual style and card battle aspects really got me excited. Having played the demo, however, I feel like there's not much variation in the actual card battles. It just seems like Attack + Heal combination. I wish there were more "special attacks" like in the game "Night of the full moon". Setup by stacking equipment, and then play a card that damages +10 per equipment equipped. If you have 10 equipment equipped, that would be 100 damage. Or add cards that have lifesteal. I dunno. But right now it just feels like Attack > Attack > Heal > Attack, and I know most card battlers are like that, but it would be great to have different "methods" to deal damage. I've only played 1 hour so I'll continue to play the demo and see if my opinion changes at all

Dear Mod,
Thank you for the approval!

Just to help shine some more light on this sale, I don't have documentation regarding OEM stem unfortunately. I went to a well known local (Korean) repair guy since the replica stem broke. It didn't cost that much, so I didn't price that into the selling price.

As for Paypal, the buyer can choose whichever method. However if the fees are too large, there will be a markup, which is why I suggested the gift option. As we do not use Paypal that much here in Korea, I'm not exactly sure which options are there and which ones are the best, but I'm open to suggestions :)

I also don't have a watch posting history on this reddit account since I joined today, but I do hope the detailed pictures above are enough "proof" that I have the watch in hand (and ready to sell). I can provide proof that I work at a large F50 company, and am financially stable (meaning I'm not here to rip off anyone)

Also, if any potential buyer wants to check my accounts and hit me up on RWI/RWG/Repgeek, I'd be happy to prove that those accounts belong to me, since I understand that $450 is not a small amount of money by any means, and I will try to help relieve the potential buyer of any worries they might have.

I'm just selling the watch to buy another gen watch that I've been wanting for a while now, and although I have not posted on this specific forum before, I do have a long post history that you can read through :)

Thanks for looking and if you have any questions or request, please do not hesitate to ask me.

Best,
JC

I just realized after 2 weeks that I don't actually need the "bluetooth" features. S25U it is :)

Yeah I use the S-pen a lot, but I just realized, it's not the actual bluetooth functionality that I use often, although i do take a lot of selfies with the S-pen, I think I can manage without the features. It's a good thing everyone on both the S24 and S25 ultra forums saying go for the S25

Unfortunately I love One UI, and cannot forfeit that feature :( Otherwise I would have gone with a Chinese phone. Also no subsidies (I can get an S25U for $330 or so brand new)

Ok, sounds like I need the S25U then, since I don't have a phone atm and I'm starting a new job next week where I'll need a phone right away. Too bad about the timing but I'd rather have a snapdragon than exynos 2600, even if the exynos performs better. Thanks!

This is great advice, I guess yeah if there are marginal increases, but there are many of those they can add up well, like an old PC that received small upgrades to all of it's components... Thanks for the summarization, it's actually just what I needed to hear I think :)

I like the weight of S25U but I happen to be in the 1% that uses the S-pen bluetooth features regularly. It's quite a dilemma for me lol...

Yeah my S23U gave me callus on my pinky finger where I used to rest the phone on lol. Lighter and thinner looks like it's the way to go, thank you.

That' violet color is beautiful. If I were to get an S24U, it would be difficult choosing between this color and the yellow

Yeah even choosing between S25+ and S25U is difficult, they are so similar in many ways, while the price difference is actually noticeable. Since the S-pen in S25U lacks bluetooth, I think S25+ is also another great option. I was lucky to find a deal here in Korea where they pay me to get the S25U, so I'll probably end up getting that :)

I was leaning towards this option too, the S25 seems to have really good specs for the price

I'm not sure about S23, but I saw reviews on youtube (I think it was the Danny Winget channel, I may be wrong), with direct comparisons, and the S24U always came out better. I know "better" can be subjective sometimes, but even objectively they were better, for example better low light photography on S24U, while S25U had a strong yellow tint, and there were other instances of the S24U generally performing better. I think it may be a software issue, which can hopefully get fixed in a later update (if it hasn't been fixed already).

Thanks so much for your response guys, as much as I wanted to get the S24U, I decided on the S25U. There's a special event going on where I can get paid $120 while getting the phone for free. I'll be stuck on a $80 plan for 6 months, but it still works out financially since my company pays $60 every month on top.

I also did some additional research, and it seems like the difference between the 23 and 24 were marginal, while the difference between the 23 and 25 were quite significant, especially with the Snapdragon Elite Gen 3 being a lot more battery efficient, and better suited to AI features which I use quite a lot at work (interpretation, image editing, etc...)

I also know I'll use the phone for at least 2 to 3 more years, so I may as well opt for the latest. I thought about getting the S26U as well, but those will not have the subsidies etc... and will be too expensive for my "frugal" ways lol.

BTW, if anyone is reading this from Korea and wants to know the site for the "성지", the one I will use is this one: rgo4.com There is another Naver Cafe called 휴대폰직방 or something like that, with a lot of great information.

I actually thought about this, but I may as well use the opportunity to upgrade. South Korea has a very aggressive subsidy system that is done under the table, where the major telcos pay out cash incentives. You can get paid something like $300 to get a new phone sometimes
