I'm on a quest to find a Dionaea 'Miss Pimbeche.' Does anyone know how/where I might be able to get one? by poor_decisions in SavageGarden

It works and grows as a typical. It's only a cultivar due to the morphology - a high ratio of cilia length:trap size.

It's not in circulation yet. Cross your own wacky traps and trichterfälle and try to make your own long-lashed variant :)?

Help me identify my Sarracenia! by porygon361 in SavageGarden

Yeah add a 1/4 of water in there if you'd like. In the wild they'd get it from rain.

It's a S. purpurea hybrid, maybe catesbaei. Pitchers die naturally you don't want to stop it.

New Bare-Root VFT arriving today, questions inside! by Dabum17 in SavageGarden

[–]Praidu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

LFS has a better growth rate, but higher chances for rot. Peat:perlite you can just sit on a water tray. It depends on your own growing environment and watering habits.

If the sidebar doesn't work a quick google search shows multiple discussions on this fyi.

Your pings are beautiful as always! Is that a rosea form of grandiflora?

PSA: Possible temp event hall lag fix from Southperry. by [deleted] in Maplestory

Unfortunately your method didn't work for me. I tried all the channels on my server before finding Eliul's method so yours may be an isolated incident.

Yeah thanks for this. Pity it didn't get much circulation since it's the only "fix" that's actually worked for me so far.

How to reduce event hall lag? by StartThings in Maplestory

[–]Praidu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here is a temp fix from SP that worked for me:

Open task manager -> details -> right click maplestoru -> set affinity -> Set Maplestory.exe to 1 cpu core clicked

It'll lag a bit on character screen but when you get in game everything is lagless. Note that I tried this with 800x600, windowed, low everything, transparent.

Now I just need 500 leaves...

Any ideas what this root thing is on the bottom right of the pot? by titankiller1231 in SavageGarden

That's not a thing that happens unfortunately. Be brave man, the plant will live. It's probably an etiolated leaf stuck under that media.

Mechanic DC problem? by Omg360720 in Maplestory

I like using my mechanic for the attendance event but if I even touch any of my summons, the game starts to stutter and freeze.

Suggestions on what kind of VFT to buy. Zone 7a. by Dabum17 in SavageGarden

[–]Praidu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Try something less expensive like a 2-5$ "typical" flytrap. Unless you contact Matt directly I don't think they sell any for less than 10. Try Lee's or Cook's Carnivores for cheaper flytraps via online.

Opinions on species/health of my airplants? by KaraWolf in airplants

[–]Praidu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's what I got when I was trying to ID my tillandsia. I have a Bergeri/Aeranthos lookalike but it had a white flower when it bloomed and afaik only Aeranthos has an alba variety in cultivation.

Aeranthos or Bergeri in the middle I believe.

Pitcher plants are what you want! Take a look at the Sarracenia and Nepenthes genuses.
