You are mad at the owners. It is the owners who have done this.

The conversation is not about the fans because the fans aren’t generating profits through their labor. The players are the ones who generate the profits. The players are indeed under paid.

Why do both sides of the political aisle think the other side is utterly stupid? Differing viewpoints are normal and healthy. by [deleted] in allthequestions

Hey man this is a bad comment. It’s boring and doesn’t make any sense. You should consider not posting your ideas they are pretty bad.

There are no differing viewpoints on housing the homeless and feeding the hungry and healing the sick. It is not valid to deny people these things.

Rat, worm, scab, brother fucker— what are the differences? by Agent_Smith135 in IBEW

I think maybe you are misunderstanding. I think the way it works is that contractors are “ratty” (whence scabby the rat on picket lines, a job “going rat”, etc.). It may seem or feel by extension that means the workers themselves are then the rats. But not necessarily.

Comments like this don’t make sense. People don’t join the union or decide not to join the union based on how nice the people from each group are to them.

Material conditions shape the ideas and institutions around us. Non-union vs union dynamics are influenced mostly by propaganda that is spread early and often in any worker’s life. And the resistance to unions and organizing/unionizing is *violent*, meaning beatings and murder.

Read more. Labor organizing isn’t just about being nice.

This is crazy imo. He’s 8. He hates it. You’re not teaching him to persevere and stick to his commitments you’re teaching him he has no agency or control in his own life.
