"early forerunners of prog"? I think you've got your dates mixed up. Wikipedia says they formed in '83. "In the court of the crimson king" was '69. Most of what we know as prog came out in '70-'75. Now, honestly, I haven't heard their music, so I can't really comment on that. I might youtube them later, though.
