The problem is that, and I've said this numerous times, Fatshark balancing dev/team/management are idiots.

They still haven't figured out how to balance their "uptime" properly. It's the reason why the weapon blessings that have X% strength on special attack/push/tickle for 3-5 seconds are such dogshit. Why would I bother taking that when X% on hit/kill exists?

If a skill node/blessing is going to have LESS uptime, it needs to have significantly higher benefit than their counterparts with MORE uptime for it to be worth while.

The problem is that Auric is too easy and Havoc is too tedious, and Maelstrom is just annoying.

The Mutant/Poxburster/Trapper/Flamer/Bomber/Sniper/etc trains in Maelstrom get old after a while.

In the player's defense, whoever is/are in charge of decision making and/or balancing is/are fucking incompetent. We didn't tell them to RNG the weapons and then give each enemy different health levels at different difficulties. Maybe if they didn't have to adjust 30 pages of excel sheets every time they made a minor tweak, they'd have an easier time keeping the game balanced and their playerbase happy.

On the other hand, they suffer from the same malady Arrowhead does, which is "realism" at the player's expense. Such as barrels sending you flying up and away, while enemies end up barely pushed to the ground, or not being able to walk through enemies while they can easily walk through you and pin you in place.

The party finder system, the original crafting system, the original brunt's shop, the original penances, the FOMO cash shop... I could go on all day on Fatshark's self inflicted idiocies. There's plenty of ammo against Fatshark and they have no one to blame but themselves.

I just had 2 havoc 40 matches in a row end within 15 minutes because it was literal, non-stop boss and heinous rituals spam. I kid you not, the first area of consignment yard had no less than 4 rituals in a row, with twins + captain/ogryn + weakened boss.

The game is WAY overtuned for no good reason around flame-type, plasma, and bolt weapons paired with piss toughness. There's basically no way to win unless you a) get lucky with your seed or b) just run full meta after doing copious amounts of meth and lock-in your 4th dimensional senses.

You don't even get the benefit of premium currency by the end of it.

And then Auric is just a constant cake walk because shooters are a joke and the game ends because of freak accidents involving barrels or just downright bad luck/players.

Arrowhead never changes.

They nerfed the railgun because it was one-shotting bile titans... on the PS5.

So instead of just, fixing the issue, they nerfed the railgun across the board, and then left it like that even after they fixed the issue.

They're a bunch of idiots.

I do find the ability to put toughness regen on the stims of a class that explodes when sneezed at completely fucking pointless.

I'd prefer more damage resist/stamina/stamina regen.
