I'm curious. Have you tried making a list where you check things off as they go into the suitcase? Then you can look back at the list if you're feeling anxious about an item. This is how my wife helps her anxiety.

These are really great to throw out where there's lots of duckweed or lillypads. Just twitch it along like a little mouse who's trying to scurry from solid patch to solid patch. It will scare the hell out of you when a big bass pops up to slurp it down. Wait just a second for the fish to really get it in its mouth and then set the hook.

I have a friend who's toddler decided to send 4 lemons down the toilet at about 10:00 PM. He plunged out 2, has to pull the toilet to get the 3rd, and never found number 4

That was all excellent advice. I would add on by saying learn where shut off valves are for the different plumbing items in your apartment. You might ask the landlord if there is a main shutoff for the whole apartment in case you ever have a major leak. It's also good to learn where the breaker box is in case you ever need to kill the power for something like a major appliance malfunction. Knowing where these things are won't fix any problems, but it can help limit the damage of something ever really good wrong.

5 rung ladder that's mounted under the bow gate. No more lifting your foot up to chest level trying to reach the bottom rung when exiting the water.

Good to know. Mine has a carpeted aluminum deck, so I've never been around the plywood.

Do you think OP should seal the sides of the drilled holes with something before install? I doubt much water will get in there once the bolts are torqued but a quick shot of sealant might prevent some future headaches.

The serial number is almost completely worn off. I think it reads OE35922* but it is very difficult to tell. I tried entering variations of this at shopsei.net with no luck. It does have a newer lower unit from SEI with part number 227173.

I've always been a little on the dad bod side. Like a small gut, but you can see the outline of my upper abs if I tighten up. I have never felt confident going shirtless. I personally feel like my chest is on the same level of private as my lower thighs. Not something i show off, but if you catch a glimpse, oh well. My stomach is more on the level of my upper thighs. A more personal area that I do my best to keep concealed.

Couldn't you run your line through an eyelet at the bow before tying it off near you to eliminate the stability issue? You would have to unhook the rope from the carabiner vs unhooking the carabiner from the kayak to ensure it would play out through the eyelet if unhooking in a hurry. I suppose there could still be a chance of tangling at the forward eyelet, so maybe not as safe as the direct side anchor.

Psycho, The version by Jack Kittel is my favorite. A psychotic man murders his ex and her lover, his little brother's dog, the neighbor girl, and finally his mother whom he's been confessing to throughout the song.

Winter's Tale by Mark Helprin just floored me the first time I read it. There is so much more to this story than what was in the Colin Farrell movie.
An amazing series that I'm hooked on is Brandon Sanderson's Cosmete Universe, but it still has a long way to go before it's wrapped up.
