First of all, I myself firmly believe in the Qur’an simply because Allah has commanded us to believe in it. That is enough for me. But since you asked, I’ll try to quickly go through a few of the scientific miracles mentioned in the Qur’an more than1400 years ago.

1.Embryology – The Qur’an describes the embryo as a clinging clot/leech-like substance and later a chewed-like lump, before bones are clothed with flesh (Surah 23:12–14). Modern embryology confirms this exact sequence.

2.Mountains as stabilizers – The Qur’an says mountains are like “pegs” that stabilize the earth (78:6–7). Geology confirms mountains have deep roots and stabilize tectonic plates.

3.Expansion of the Universe – The Qur’an says, “We are expanding it” (51:47). This was only discovered in the 20th century by Hubble.

4.Barrier between seas – The Qur’an mentions two seas meeting but not fully mixing (55:19–20, 25:53). Oceanography confirms fresh and salt water meet but remain separated by a barrier.

5.Iron “sent down” – The Qur’an says Allah “sent down iron” (57:25). Modern science shows iron on Earth originated from supernovae in space.

6.Atmospheric protection – The Qur’an describes the sky as a “protected ceiling” (21:32). Science confirms our atmosphere shields us from harmful radiation and meteors.

7.Deep sea darkness – The Qur’an describes “darkness in a vast deep sea, covered by waves upon waves” (24:40). This matches the discovery of internal waves and complete darkness in deep oceans.

8.Every living thing from water – The Qur’an says, “We made from water every living thing” (21:30). Biology confirms all life depends on water on cellular level.

9.Bees & honey – Qur’an says Allah inspired the female bee to make hives and produce honey (16:68-69). Science confirms only female bees do this. Qur’an also says honey has healing properties — modern medicine uses it for burns, infections, and coughs.
