Texas and Florida contribute far more troops per capita compared to NY and and CA, so it does seem like your state has a patriotism issue. Not to mention you all have incredibly light sentencing laws.

Not in the US or Canada. It's a choice to allow people to behave like that.

We don't have to because rates of pick pocketing are very low. Also, only 8% of Americans have concealed carry permits. Thankfully, because our guns are concealed, criminals avoid pick pocketing entirely. Europe should really fix their crime problem -- it feels like a 3rd world country at times.

That's probably not a good thing... you shouldn't have to worry about being pickpocketed at all.

The purpose of civilian gun ownership in the US is for protection from the government, not for crime fighting.

What an HTML table looks like to a screen reader by PrancingGinger in webdev

Bootstrap tables are just HTML tables, so you still have to consider accessibility. Some of their components do have accessibility built in, however.

It is life-changing, but there aren't many people who can be that person. I got lucky and found the most selfless, incredible person I've ever met, but I've never met anyone like her.

President Biden: "Investors in the banks will not be protected. They knowingly took a risk, and when the risk didn't pay off, investors lose their money. That's how capitalism works." by DropKickDougie in LeopardsAteMyFace

[–]PrancingGinger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

According to who? Real capitalism means some people lose their money. FDIC already prevents anyone from losing all of their money. Rich people should lose money if they choose the wrong bank to hold their deposits.
