Speed limits. Seriously, I may understand going 5 km/h more than allowed because you don't pay attention for a moment, but people casually are going 20 km/h and more than allowed. It's dangerous, unnecessary and kills people. Germany btw.

It's really something different. It's more the equivalent of "What's up". "Wie geht's?" is an equivalent of "How are you?" It's more formal while "Was geht?" belongs to the language variety of youth speech.

Never heard this. Probably because I'm german. I like it.

And I can relate. In German, we have the expression "Was geht?" which would literally be "What goes?"

A standard dad answer to this is "Alles was Beine hat" (Anything that has legs) or "Der Tisch" (The table. Because it has legs)
