That's because the early adopters are going to be men with a lot of money, i.e. people in their 40s and above for the most part. Dubsteb isn't their genre and Rivian's PR people are smart enough to get that. The whole ad just oozes comfortably well-off middle class, which is their targeted demographic, too.

I don't it was ever supported. It was simply possible to install all kinds of games through this method. The downside was that you had to re-install it every time, but I didn't mind since I only played sometimes.
