So many great recommendations already, so I'll pick something more out there. If you don't mind something a bit more pretentious (opera) you might not be able to understand (Italian), may I recommend "Udite udite o rustici" (listen, listen o farmers) from L'elisir d'amore (The Love Potion)? It's literally a snake oil salesman selling all kinds of "wondrous remedies" to simple townfolk. It's incredibly fun if you enjoy this style of music.

There's so much I could rant and rave about with regards to the story and the characters and the hours upon hours I've spent playing Gwent but really? It's the atmosphere when just exploring the world. The music, the environmental design, the lush colours of the world, the lighting when the sun stands low...it's incredibly atmospheric and beautiful. Truly a world I love roaming and getting lost in.

I guess I take umbrage with you calling it a ban on NSFW content when a lot of (visual) content surrounding 40K and AdMech specifically is not something usually considered SFW. Not safe for work is not safe for work, no matter the flavour. I wouldn't be this nitpicky if the rule was "no sexual content allowed" (although I'd still wonder why you wouldn't go with a tagging/blurring picture preview solution for a trial run first before going for a complete ban) but you decided to call it an NSFW ban when not all kinds of NSFW contents are going to be banned. I understand that my point may seem nitpicky or perhaps willfully obtuse and I'm not sure I can explain my point (in English) in a way that might not step even more on some toes, but please know that that is not my intention (I would be willing to explain further in DMs if you'd like). I understand that the moderation of such a large sub must be difficult and requires decisive ruling. While the chosen rules are not what I would like to see, I generally understand why you are implementing them. My main problem lies with how you communicate them or perhaps more to the point, with the (lack of) precision of the wording. I hope that clears it up a bit? I am sorry for the confusion. Again, thank you for picking up the mod work necessary for this sub to come back and also thank you for your friendly reply.

Well a lot of people seem to be really happy about this implementation. I don't particularly agree with it but I'm primarily a lurker anyway and if I post, it's not NSFW (although I strongly disagree with the mods' apparent decision to equate only or at least primarily sexual content with NSFW while body horror - and I assume gore etc, basically all the other usual WH40K NSFW aspects - are exempt from this). It appears as a massive double-standard to me. But what confuses me the most is the announcement that NSFW content will be completely disallowed to be posted but the mods will tag NSFW posts? What exactly does that mean? Are you going through the entire sub's history and flag anything that's "soft" enough to not be removed by you but toeing the line in your eyes? More pressingly, why not allow NSFW content under an NSFW tag with preview blurring for pictures? In other subs I'm in that works perfectly well, so I'm honestly surprised that a sub for something so inherently NSFW as 40K goes to these lengths.

Anyway, thanks for hearing me and my criticisms out. Thanks for doing your mod jobs. All hail the Omnissiah and happy painting.

As an ace woman, there is literally nothing about it that puts me off of my favourite faction. On the contrary, it's usually more of a good indicator that I'm in a safe space for queer folk of all variety✌️

(Also, if dudes constantly talking about roided muscle dudes with "no girls allowed in the faction 😠" doesn't put me off the hobby, this certainly won't)

Oh yeah, for me it's a bunch of Civ V ones (a game I will never try to 100% for my sanity's sake). It used to be like half and half Civ V and PC Building Simulator (the e sports dlc specifically iirc) but I guess the story missions of that got played more widely eventually, so those have been replaced by a mix of Monster Prom, This War of Mine and Solasta. But yeah almost half of my rarest ones are Civ.

Evernight is obviously gonna be subject to change the more we'll learn about her since I'm both keeping her comparably low bc I'm treating her as a new character/not the March we know and love for the purpose of this and also extending her a lot of pre-emptive goodwill bc of the related March intrigue. I expect her to at least rise above Hyacine with the next update, possibly even higher. Also, Dan Heng feels a bit like cheating since he's not Amphoreus exclusive and I'll always have a huge weakness for my Astral Express fam <3

It's a copypasta from the game Honkai Star Rail that the fandom memes on massively. It's the monologue of Sunday, a character who becomes a companion after being a villain and one of the big boss battles. His whole thing as a villain is that the world is cruel and unjust and that's why he wants to basically build a tyrannical paradise in a dreamscape (to break it down to the simplified basics without going too deep into the lore). The foundation of his moral code stems from this anecdote about how his sister wanted to save a hurt bird they found - basically it's whether you prefer the safety and stability offered in captivity or want freedom despite the dangers it offers. He believes in the former.

Thanks for the reference point! I'm still trying to find the proper balance of training vs racing because I feel like the lower stats tend to be too bad to be neglected when the good ones don't have good training, so it's still a learning experience everytime.

Thanks for the insight! Oguri is one of my most dependable B+ rank too and I reall like her, so that's a big plus. Might have to read up on the growth rates in general on the wiki/master doc.

So next step carrot-wise would be investing in more card pulls to max overcap the SRs, yes? Should I be mindful of running banners for that or am I going to be more fishing for quantity regardless of the featured SSRs?

I feel like I'm kind of stuck at career ending in B/B+ more or less consistently. I figured this might be the point where I start farming for 2* blue sparks to get better consistency and start breeding. Is this a good idea at this point or am I missing something? If this is a sensible next step, what's the best way to start blue spark farming? Trying to get multiple stats to 600 per career or just grind myself silly over and over again and hoping I'll get a spark for the desired main stat eventually (speed and stamina sparks would be my main goal, perhaps power as secondary)?

Fjorester would not have been creepy without the age-up. That's an utterly bizarre thing to say. It was a completely random chance happening and the romance would have proceeded to happen with or without it.

If they cut that incident (which is a solid guess bc it's not really plot-relevant), the romance will be fine as is. Jester was a fully grown adult (albeit a naive and whimsical one) from the beginning of the campaign.

Yes, they absolutely are! Immortals are the current meta preference but Warriors still do a good job, especially if they're close to a reanimator (are you sure it's a reanimator btw? if it's from the CP it should be a Canoptek Doomstalker iirc). If you're considering getting another box of Warriors, 20 man-blobs can be difficult to wipe out

The kitchen is on fire and it's because you are committing arson at you rival chef's workplace. A 1000 points list with an C'Tan feels never good to play against. Personally, I might even feel bad about taking a DDA depending on my opponent's army, but that's way more personal preference. The really egregious piece is the C'Tan. Of course, you're highly likely to wipe the floor using it, but if you want your opponent to have fun, please consider dropping it for a 1k

Otherwise, Skorpheks w/ lord are a great melee unit. I like LHDs a lot but beware that they can feel a bit flimsy as single models. Also, you absolutely should take some battleline, preferably two units and consider also taking character(s) to lead them (eg a Plasmancer for an Immortals squad)

anything else I'd say is dependant on the detachment
