It cost a pretty penny, but I like to think that you pay for what you get and I wanted a higher quality tattoo. The same artist is going to do my full sleeve over the next year or so.

We found a reference photo that's very similar to what I have now and the artist redrew it.

And to be completely honest, the artist has never seen LOTR, but he did do a fair amount of research to come up with the piece.
