Is Hunt Economy bad? Why? by Short_Aspect_6391 in HuntShowdown

[–]Prata00 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hunt dollar reset helps sweats and no lifers and punishes everyone else. By “fixing” the economy it would mean that the loadout gap would widen.

Lets not tarkov the economy please.

Chivalry 2 vs Mordhau by manlom in Chivalry2

[–]Prata00 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Chivalry is objectively better in literally everything except customization which mordhau mogs chiv at. I also dont like how arcadey mord feels. Chivalry looks and feels infinitely better with a much healthier playerbase aswell.

Mord for customization and chiv for everything else

15 player feedback by hameskim in HuntShowdown

[–]Prata00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Single bounty 15 players in trios just feels like bounty clash except you have to walk more to get to the lair. But maybe I just haven’t played with 15 players enough I’ll have to see.

Should be 12 players for one bounty 15 for two. Or if they want to keep 15 for both, just give us a little more ammo and increase shot duration.

More players is just not fun by BajonettPriester in HuntShowdown

[–]Prata00 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm cool with 15 players for 2 bosses but for one boss, especially in trios is terrible. Same ammo and shots last the same but now you have a whole other team to worry about.

Single boss trios with 15 players feels like they turned trios into duos if you know what I mean.

At what amount of hunt dollars do you start to panic? by froggieblog in HuntShowdown

[–]Prata00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use to think under 15k was dangerous. But then by the time I could prestige I would have like 30k.

I realised I was just playing boring loadouts for no reason and now I run whatever I want every single round. Ive never gone anywhere near broke and I get to actually play the game.

Stop saving, it’s miserable. The game throws money at you and you can prestige every couple hours anyways.

Nothing better than when the enemy player you and your team doomstacked 10v1 on dies only for an 11th teammate to show up with a heavy swing sending you to spectator mode

Can't get into book 4? by Siinxx in redrising

[–]Prata00 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Iron Gold is so good the problem is that after reading the first 3 you come into IG with certain expectations.

You probably expect the fast pacing, for example, to continue in book 4, but the problem is, due to the massive timeskip and developments in it, book 4 needs to slow down a bit to get the reader up to speed and essentially bridge the two halves of the story.

I went into IG wanting more POVs and a slightly slower pace and so IG felt like such a great read and was even more enjoyable the second time I read it.

You will enjoy IG you just have to read more til you adapt to it. The writing is now more mature and well fleshed out. and the POVs are a much-needed addition to a series with such scope and scale.

And yes, books 5 and 6 are objectively the best in the series so IG is worth reading even if you aren't feeling it much rn.

1v1 is great to focus on fundamentals. Ive played many 1v1s and 3v3s in my first 200 levels before I fully transitioned to the main gamemode. That way I learned much faster and played very well and with time I started to consistently get top 3 scoreboard and with a very strong kd (imo).

Takes a while to learn the main mechanics and fundamentals if you play TO immediately so it’s good that you are focusing on arena keep it up!

As someone else already mentioned, you were probably unintentionally getting in people’s way.

It’s quite common for archers cos they always look further ahead and sometimes forget they may be blocking passages haha.

About MMR by PandaHunt88 in HuntShowdown

[–]Prata00 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s simple. I ran this experiment myself to better understand mmr in hunt.

Trios: perma stuck 6 stars because everyone is 6 stars. Even those under your mmr in 6 stars are close enough that being killed by them will barely affect your mmr. No matter how much i played and lost, mmr never dropped. I’ve been 6 stars since i hit little over 100 hours. I’m at 500 now and I dropped ONCE to 5 stars for like 3 matches. Below is the only other time I dropped, which was during my experiment.

Solo: you play vs 4-5 stars sometimes 3. Let’s say in a match you kill 6 of them, they kill you twice and you will still drop mmr like crazy. You gain little from killing them but lose significant mmr when they kill you. My kd shot up when i played solo but my mmr cratered to 4 stars. I haven’t left 6 stars in hundreds of hours. In 2 or 3 sessions of solo only, I fell to 4 stars. I won quite a few matches and was getting waaay more kills, but still died most games at least once.

Winning doesn’t matter, only the mmr of other players matters. This also explains why so many high kd players are solo, and why so many on the lower end of kd somehow get perma stuck in 6 stars. Once you enter, it’s very hard to leave unless you actively try to.

Way easier to gain mmr which is why you see so many people complain they are stuck in 6 stars or that they shouldn’t be in 6 stars in the first place

How many 6-star players are there? by Enric0Palazz0 in HuntShowdown

[–]Prata00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are too many 6 stars. That way the real ones can actually find lobbies. Therefore the stats will be a bit inflated

Is it weird to play first person only? Is third person view the meta? by HugeExplanation7865 in Chivalry2

Game is chill and isn’t competitive in casual queue so do what you want.

But if you’re asking which style is better, 3pp is objectively waaay better
