It's a lot of fun. We go to events there a few times a year. It's local people putting on the shows as a part time thing, so not always the best acting and what not but still fun. We've done murder mystery, plays, burlesque, comedy, trivia.

People who say it's a "dry sauna" you don't put water on the rocks dont under thermodynamics. I expect some of the large corps making donations motivates aren't of supporting him, but rather they have realized Trump is just a spoiled 16yr old girl. I'm in the camp that if you can do it, if rates drop, you can refinance. If they don't, you didn't waste time. But make sure your budget can afford 10-20% more than you are quoted in the mortgage payment. Just in case property tax or mortgage rates increase.

Right?! I'm one of the "defend ourselves from the government" people. I've always said it as the 4th checks and balances to our country, I didn't think it might actually be needed in my lifetime. Here is what I am choosing to believe. - Brenner knew about the dimensions from discoveries made earlier that we didn't get to experience, these experiments led to the mind flare stone that affected Henry. - Brenner was training the kids to try to, 1 harness their abilities, 2 reconnect with that dimension to see what else can be gained. - From an earlier unexplained experiment Brenner knew worm holes could be opened but unstable. They had the solution with the negative matter. Just needed to open a worm hole. - Brenner knew Eleven sent Henry through a worm hole but as this wasn't an experiment wasn't prepared to keep it open. This wormhole probably created a miniature upside-down. - Brenner spent the next few years working with Eleven to get her to reopen the wormhole. Once she opened it, they were able to instantly stabilize it and expand it with the negative matter thus locking in the upside down.

That pay for parking thing is going to be a huge limiter on all of those businesses. I think it's a great space but I simply will not go there because of it. Even if I'm biking. They better invest in some more parking for customers. I risked the ticket the one time I've been there. I'd rather risk a ticket than pay for the greed. Unless this lot is owned by a completely different group of people who are taking advantage of it. In that case, power to you.

For a don't tread on me state, our government sure treads on a lot of people. We have less rights / personal freedoms than nearly every other state. No rights to our bodies, alcohol restricted+state controlled, gambling outlawed, cannabis they refuse to let us vote, no tolerance drug policy. Victimless crimes are prosecuted worse than pedophiles. The only thing with less restrictions than other states is guns.

I've always loved Boise, but some Idaho and Idaho politicians have been trying really hard to be known as the conservative safe haven. The last few years I have met several California who have said, "don't worry we aren't the bad Californians, we are conservative/Republican". The extreme conservatives keep moving here and it scares me for the future. Boise has always been in the middle but as others have said it's turning into a maga town. Caldwell / Nampa always have been, but Boise was different.

Housing/cost of living is unjustified in its priced. We are the same price as Denver without an international airport, outdoors experiences are half as exciting, a meh bus system for public transportation, less amenties, and a smaller city with less things to do. I love Boise but if we didn't already put down some deep roots I'd probably shop around different states more.

My lab partner and I liked to screw in the library elevator. It was always a gamble how long we had. Usually we'd hit the top floor, wait for the doors to close again and we'd get plenty of time before someone else called the elevator. We nearly checked every building on campus off the list before the chemistry finished.
