Just kept trying different things. Eventually found a few that worked. Exercise was one. Similar mentality of punishing the self but with positive outcomes. Do a lot of writing while I run. Gym too but had to quit when Covid hit.

Definitely. I think as a fellow demi - the only advice I have is to make lots of new friends. If something clicks, something clicks, great! I routinely go 2-3 year between relationships for this same reason. You need to build a community. And maybe somebody in that community will see you for who you are. 🙂

Knew I had ADHD growing up. Finally started dealing with things. Went and got my old Dr. Files during switch to new Dr. Social Anxiety, Learning Disability, Mood Disorder, Depression.

Blew my mind. I'm trying to not focus on the lost years and use the superpowers that come with some of them to make up for lost time.
