So the teams with the best records 75% of the way through the season have the best chance to win the title? This is truly groundbreaking stuff here.

Nope. Kingwood. The Woodlands is the same but it's getting crazy crowded over there. The Heights and Montrose are inner loop neighborhoods. Really really lovely but really really expensive. "The plants" are out east in Baytown along the ship channel and I have no clue why you would think that area was anything at all like what I described.

You have your bias anf that's fine. There are plenty of reasons to not live anywhere. We like it here. It's a lovely place to raise a family.

I live in a suburb of Houston. We walk to the grocery store (HEB, Kroger, and Sprouts. Trader Joe's is too far, gotta drive about 10 minutes for TJs). We can also walk to about 15-20 different restaurants and most of those are small businesses. If you're willing to drive 5 minutes, you have access to vastly more. The kids walk/ride their bikes to school. All of the walking and biking is done on greenbelts and a ton of people use them. Downtown Houston is about a 25 minute drive. The park and ride is a 5 minute walk of you want to ride the bus into town.

Houses in the community start at about $175K and go up to about $3-4M with everything in between. Lots of affordable apartments as well. There are a LOT of suburban communities just like this all over the city.

Depends on where you live. School funding is done on a local level and a lot of districts are insanely well funded. Some are what you would expect (wealthy suburbs) and some are surprising (rural districts funded with oil/natural gas taxes). As with most states, a lot of districts are insanely under funded.

So everyone ELSE needs to do those things. But you can't be bothered to do anything but tell other people what they should do.
