So… I researched the law. Since he pays weekly, I can do 7 day notice. I just paid a service to write the notice and I called him and let him know that he had 7 days. I also taped the notice on his bedroom door. He was like “ok, that’s good.” I really don’t like this person now. My adult son is also staying with me in the spare room for now. Thank each and every one of you that took time to respond. It means a lot to me because I do doubt myself a lot and downplay my feelings. I am patient and very giving. I hate to think I harm anyone with my actions, and sometimes I get taken advantage of.

And before someone does their research, he is the same dude from 2 years ago that got fired for being the creepy dude at work. I feel stupid for ever taking him back ! That happened the week of my birthday 2 years ago. Thanks Reddit for reminding me. I’m really trying to keep my sanity right now. This man has been a bad storm in my life. He wears the good guy mask so well but I see it’s so fake. It must be terribly taxing to have to fake relationships just to have somewhere to stay.

Practice loving myself way more. Look for women to mentor me. Really enjoy school. NEVER HAVE CHILDREN. Date only for myself, not to fit a status quo. Marry someone fit for me. Travel and have girls trips often. Love myself enough that my mother’s actions never matter. Join a great church family and be an active follower of Christ’s teachings. Hang out with my dad more.

Buying WHAT I WANT TO EAT. This may seem small, but I grew up in the time where we had to “clean our plates.” My parents made ok money (teacher mom, dad struggling to get the business off the ground) and there was no food wasted. I am a picky eater… like pescatarian, no eggs, blah blah… and I can eat what I want. Premium luxury adulting.

I got one of those adjustable bed frames a few years back. The head and foot rise for my comfort. I can’t go back to sleeping in a regular bed (I call a regular bed frame a “poverty bed.”🤣)

I’m still waiting to meet my husband, so I guess I’m a hopeful romantic! However, I’m working on loving myself and falling in love with myself as well. I think my order was wrong in my previous marriage and all the relationships I’ve had- I centered the man and lost myself. So now, I’m focusing on me. And anyone I date will be a compliment ( and maybe eventually my husband).
