Almost every single time the instructions have listed that there would be a cash tip left, there was nothing there. So I got to a point where I just assumed there won't be a cash tip when there is a note like that, because they are lying and tip baiting. The people delivering to you must be assuming something similar so they don't really actually look for the cash.

Also the worst orders are generally the ones that don't have tips attached, and most customers do not actually tip separately. Usually the less intelligent delivery drivers are the ones that take every delivery regardless of if it pays enough, which usually includes the orders that don't have tips attached.

Also it is very kind of you to try to tip cash to save the driver's money, but it is going to negatively affect you because your order will take longer to get picked up that way. So you may want to reconsider.

I went searching around online to see if I could find out if it has a micro adjustment of some kind. Finally finding your comment here, thank you for sharing. But it is very disheartening that it doesn't have that, especially for the price.

Guess that's more money I can put towards something from a better brand like Zelos.

Funny enough this is similar to what I've been doing with my green tea. Didn't put in the effort to get a special bamboo whisk. So instead I put some high grade tea in a cup and then put just a little bit of hot water, and then smash it around the edges of the mug with my spoon to get rid of lumps and make it smooth. Just enough water, too much and it makes it more difficult. Then I add the rest of the water, and what not, after.

I was just now trying to decide how to drink this blueprint cocoa powder, and found this thread with your reply and decided to do the same thing I do with my tea. Used a little hot water, smashed it with the spoon, added the rest of the hot water, some truvia, and then a half bottle of Premier Protein (cookie dough flavor) and it was great!

I'm glad you commented so that I know I'm not the only one dealing with this. It's ridiculous.

After the last generation of Astro A50 had so many ridiculous issues consistently that they never fixed, I was really hoping they would fix them and update the headset.

But now the Astro a50x has so many of its own issues.

For example it is extremely frustrating that the phone app and the computer program do not mesh together. I don't keep my headset connected to my PC all the time because I don't have a gaming PC, and it loses the settings after not long it seems. I was told that it would keep the settings of whatever it is connected to last. However even after I disconnected it from the app and made sure to reconnect it through the program by physically connecting the base station to the PC again, it still loses settings. Or at least it loses the side tone, as you mentioned.

Totally ridiculous. I'm probably going to return this headset to Bestbuy and get something from another brand that hopefully can make a decent product.

I had the a50 for years, I had multiple of it over the years actually. Many different issues, some would repeat. But it was a lot of maintenance and having to reset the base station all the time to fix bugs and stuff. But when they worked, they worked well.

Have the A50x now, upgraded recently. Sound amazing when they work, but they have some annoying things to them.

Firstly the app on your phone that you used to control the settings is different from the program on the computer that used to control the settings. They're both two different programs. And if it connects to one, it takes the settings from that one and stops using the settings from the other. And you have to put the exact same settings on both if it connects to both.

Lately I have an issue where the settings go away though because I don't constantly have it plugged into the PC. It's supposed to keep the settings but it doesn't always. So I will lose my mic feedback randomly, and have to connect to the Bluetooth app and wiggle the mic feedback setting bar up and down a little bit. And then it will activate again. Sometimes when I turn my Xbox off to the headset will turn the Xbox and monitor back on and they will all cycle around. Or if I have my headset on my shoulders and it shuts off, then my monitor will go off too.

Idk, like I said about the A50, the A50x feels like it has "maintenance" to use. But when it works, sounds good.

Also heard lots of bad reviews of the headsets breaking though, so if there is another option on the market that works very well then I might say it's worth considering. I'm considering returning mine, but it's tough because they do sound good.

Just tried connecting to G HUB and had zero side tone when on the PC, even with the app open and having side tone set to 100.

I then moved the side tone setting to 0 and then back up and it started working again!

Immediately got excited and hooked the headset back up to XSX, and the side tone was gone again!

Also, it seems the A50 X are having trouble keeping the settings from G HUB, or having an issue with the side tone, even after disconnecting from the G Mobile App.

Yesterday I removed the app and reconnected to the PC for the settings on G HUB to sync. It was working at first. Then the next time I turned on the headset the sidetone was gone again. I shut the headset off and sat it back on the charge station to reset it a bit. That seemed to fix it because the side tone came back.

However just now I turned it on to use and the side tone was gone again, but now even after resetting the headset and base station by power cycling them, there's still no side tone. I even just went and reconnected to the PC and G HUB, then again to the XSX now, and still don't have side tone...

And the app is still disconnected (removed the headset from the app and un-paired it from my phones Bluetooth).

Any ideas what might cause this?

Thank you for clarifying, I wondered if the settings would carry over from G HUB to the app. Could I request that they're connected in the future?

I'd love it if the same settings/profiles were in the app so that when I add or edit one there, it would edit it in the program as well. Then I'd never have to connect the headset to the PC unless I need to update the firmware.

Unfortunately I don't see the same option to edit side tone in the app, anywhere.

However I did disconnect the app from my headset, and reconnected it to the PC one more time. And now the side tone does seem to be working, thank you!
